  1. Lickert is the man for the job. He has won everywhere he’s been, and none of those places had the resources of Highlands. He won at a small A school. Won at an inner city school. Won at a 6A County school like they had never won before. Nice start at NCC as well. I believe HHS will be sorry if they pass on Lickert again. Might be their last chance. Very likely he’ll pile up some trophy’s on the hill then he won’t want to leave.
  2. Congrats to Newport. Nice season for the Thouroughbreds despite being short handed most of the season. They almost ended up being the 1 seed. Tough district.
  3. Highlands seems to be getting hot at the right time.
  4. He made the decision to step down on his own. He was not asked to do so. I know there is a health issue his family is dealing with. Great run with the Camels for Coach Menefee.
  5. Great run at WV for Coach Brannen. It sounds like he just needed to step back and regroup. He will do a great job wherever he lands next.
  6. Dayton is very fortunate to have Coach Hetbst lead their program. Good luck to Jesse and the Greendevils.
  7. There was the Walz girl from Highlands. I think she scored like 5,000 points and was Gatorade's National Player of the Year.
  8. They are in the basketball All "A" Classic so they will probably be A or AA. Have they named a coach?
  9. Coach West does a great job, and this year Grant County is reaping the benefits of his years of hard work. They have the players to make some noise come tournament time.
  10. Congratulations to Ally! Very deserving! One of the best players in the history of NKY basketball.
  11. I disagree with "easily". On paper Conner is the 2nd best team coming back this season. Ryle will have their hands full with the Cougars.
