  1. Bell Co will be tested for the first time all year. Their SOS was subpar to say the least. I think this will be the difference maker. Taylor Co has played Simon Kenton, Campbellsville,Glasgow 2X, and Paducah Tilghman. Better be glad this is a home game. Taylor Co by 14+.
  2. Can anyone provide websites for live feeds of games???
  3. Thank you Tkinslow. I wont go thru the spill of how we ended up in Glasgow, but it all sure worked out. Not received alot of offers at the next level but he could play somewhere and contribute. He has those qualities that you can't teach. You either have them or you don't. What a ride it's been. Take care
  4. We just got home. He’s resting and doing good. Be a lengthy healing process but Dr said he should be ready to go come baseball season. Unfortunate situation but it’s an injury that will heal. Good luck to everyone next week
  5. Really tough loss. I’m Tanners dad and heard a female from Taylor Co crowd SCREAMING while my son was laying on the field,”hurry and get off the field you big cry baby.” After our first contest with Taylor Co my son came home and was talking about their poor sportsmanship. I guess this put it in stone. Taylor Co has a good football team and hats off to them for their win. Being humble is tough for some people.
  6. I think DeSales is the clear #1 at this point. Then Mercer and Belfry. The rest is a toss up. Ive watched Bell Co. and they can play but they haven't played anyone close to a Mayfield, St.X, N Hardin, or South Warren. Their SOS is at the bottom and their RPI is at the top. I'm not a believer in this RPI just yet. If Season ended today why should a DeSales team that lost to ST.X and Lex Cath. have to travel to Bell Co for a regional finals? Why Should a Mercer Co that beat CAL, Glasgow that lost by 1 to SW, or a Bardstown that lost to Pikeville??? There's the real Questions. As of today Bell Co.hasn't beat anyone, and other than Harlan, doesn't even have a chance of losing but would play at home throughout the playoffs. That's what I'm trying to comprehend. I don't mean this as a slur to Bell Co. I'm just saying their level of competition hasn't been equal to or close to that of a lot of other teams. Their 6 opponents have a combined 9 wins.
  7. I was surprised Glasgow wasn't in the top 10 somewhere. There 1 loss is to a 5A South Warren team on a bad snap and a last second miracle. Glasgow can run, pass and play defense. Some of those top 10 are 1 dimensional. I also think Bardstown, Etown, and Taylor Co. deserve to be in there. Once again only 10 spots for 13 teams.
  8. So lets think about this. First down with .56 sec to go. South has 2 timeouts left. First down you take a knee, take a knee. South calls timeout. .50 sec left. 2nd down you take a knee, South calls their final timeout. Its now 3rd down with lets say .45 sec left. You take a knee, clock is running. There's .05 sec left when you snap the ball on 4th down. Am I missing something? I could not believe what I saw. You just had to be there.
