It like they trying to convince themselves they are better. The scoreboard is the only aspect of the game you need to win and you did. If you still feel the need to win every aspect of the game then my friend you in for lots of heart ache in the future because many times there are games where a team wins every aspect except the score and that is a lousy feeling. Accept your win and be humble as the score is all you need to have bragging rights for a year!!!

Look Danville won and nothing can be done about just try to do better next year. Danville had nothing to do with at least 6 false starts. Now as for the TD and your pic. Looks funny to me the only time he had possession was in the air which your pic is of and the feet were croped out. By the time he was on ground they were both fighting for the ball meaning noone had control of the ball and they go out of bounds. Give both kids credit for doing their jobs best they could. My take on it is incomplete since really no one had control till both were way out of the end zone. In the field of play between goalies that would have been interception but it is what it is and cannot be changed now. Congrats Danville on your 2017 championship. Think that's 11 for you so you still got to get 1 more to catch the Cardinals if you can. Should be some great years ahead for both teams looking forward to it as I know Danville is too.

Congrats Danville better team. Van Cleave fast but his team blocking for him was the key. Big Mo had a few swings and Cardinals made way to many mistakes to keep it close. Credit Danville for forcing us to play bad but I sure we could have done better. Bad time to have bad game but it happens. Great year cardinals and proud of your year and effort!! Oh and the one TD incredible how bad of call should be a thread just on that!!!!!

Ok someone explain. 2 weeks ago Central blows Belfry out and all everyone on here could say was Central laying claim to the title. Corbin beats Central and now plays Boyle and now Boyle suppose to blow Corbin out? I don't think so. I saw Corbin once this year and they are a solid team all the way around. Not saying they cannot be beat but to me they should be the favored team. Since they beat the team most were saying had the title wrapped up. Just my opinion

He would of had to trip not to score. Defenders right on him if you call 5 yards behind right on him. That was as open as he was all night. In the end it doesn't matter because he dropped the ball in a big situation. The cardinals had some key drops as well. Cardinal won the game even losing the turnover battle. Think we could of had more points on board except for a fumble. We were driving and close to at least FG range when that occurred. I sure cardinals will see this team again in future years.

I was impressed with CAL in every aspect. Hustled in everything they did. Breaking the huddle and game play. The #57 kid made tackles all over the field. There is a reason this team defending champs. Great coaching!!! Great game plane MHS coaches. Got one more. Go big red!!!

Wright was dangerous all night on special teams that last punt he got stuck as soon as he got the ball awesome job.

While War Memorial defiantly is nostalgic the fans in main stands have become not as vocal as years way back. Think we and me included have become spoiled. Hopefully we can come out strong for our team Friday night and help create an old time atmosphere that will be a nightmare for the visitors like nothing they have ever seen or heard.

Mayfield tackling has always been taught like this. Every man to the ball. If that happens then I don't know a RB anywhere that can break loose from all 11 men. Now if it is 1 on 1 then obviously the better athlete wins. If Mayfield swarms to ball as they suppose to then very few yards rushing for the opponent.

I had heard OC had stated on radio show few days before the game that Mayfield wasn't very good running the ball or tackling and he felt they had great chances of scoring on special teams. Little bulletin board material I guess. Wonder how he feels now?

The first two rounds of playoffs only good for 2 things and one good and one bad. 1 underclassmen getting some experience for the better team which is a positive for that Team. 2. Either team can be hit with a player sustaining a season ending injury and is that really how KY wants the playoffs decided if a great team gets a player hurt that could change the coarse of the playoff in a game that for all purposes is decided before it even starts. I think should stay 6 classes but fewer teams in playoffs!!! Just my 2cents
