Bishop Brossart became a member of the 10th region for the 1996-1997 season. Prior to that they were in the 9th region, district 36 with Campbell Co., Highlands, Scott and Silver Grove. We were not in the same district with NCC. If we were ever in the same district Newcath it was a long, long time ago.

Brossart (12-6) has won 6 out of their last 7 games. West Carter (15-5) has won 11 out of their last 12 games. Any Thoughts?

Did Slater get many attempts against Walton? He sure was the difference against Brossart. Mustangs cannot shoot themselves in the foot with penalties. I believe they will tighten up the run defense. Two regulars on defense who did not play against Bellevue should be back this week. Because of the kicking game I'll say Mustangs by a field goal, 24 - 21.

I bet all the critics of Brossart"s schedule do not have a clue about some of the athletes that both Betsy Lane and especially Eminence have on their team. Both won handily tonight. But they probably did not play anyone tonight either.

If Mustangs defense can once again hold their opponent to 2 touchdowns or less I like our chances. They also cannot have a sloppy second half with numerous penalties. On offense the play calling has been outstanding, a good combination of run and pass. Will a win over Bellevue end all the nonsense about the schedule? I hope so. Brossart 24, Bellevue 14.

Mustangs defense has had 0 points scored on them in the second half this year. Ludlow has not scored over 20 points in any game yet this year. What happened last year was last year. Brossart wins 28 - 14
