  1. @Rebel I like the way you think! Ryan's is literally gone. The building was demolished back in the summer. In addition to the ones you mentioned, Id suggest, Back Home (country cooking), The Wicked Eye'd Woman (British Pub), and Roxie's diner for local spots. There's also the following out on 31W near the Mall: LongHorn, O'Charlies, Rafferty's, Cheddars, Red Lobster, Wing & Rings and BW3's. Enjoy!
  2. Boyle will have the size advantage in the trenches and this will E-Town's biggest challenge. E-Town's linemen are in the 225-260 range while I see Boyle has 5-6 in the 275-295 range. I will say this isn't anything E-Town hasn't seen before as they are normally outsized at the line, but it's a huge challenge none the less. I believe all of E-Town's linemen primarily only play one side of the ball. They do have several skill players that play both sides.
  3. Looks like Boyle is the favorite as I would expect based upon rankings. However, I'm a little surprised with several posters picking the Rebels to run away with it, especially considering E-Town's hosting. Can any of those folks provide some stats and reasons why they feel Boyle wins by 2+ TDs? Should be a great game!
  4. Too much athleticism on Caldwell for Larue to handle. I think Larue hangs early and controls the ball similar to what they did to E-Town and then Caldwell pulls away.
  5. I don't buy that E-Towon will run away with this game. I believe they should advance being at home, but PT has played a challenging schedule and has improved game by game all year. Steve Duncan can coach and he will have a good game plan to slow the Panther's O. Should be a good game. I say E-Town in a close one.
  6. The E-Town player ejected was Kendrick Williams. He's a two way starter and is an impact player. However, I do not think that will effect the outcome and E-Town should come away with the W.
  7. I think this will be competive for the first two quarters and E-Town stretches it out in the second half. The Panthers have come out flat for a couple of games when playing a team they expect to beat (Edmonson Co.). However they respect Larue, and it's EHS homecoming, so they will be chomping at the bit to get this one going.
  8. Two quality teams that are well coached. E-Town was plagued with injuries coming into the game and lost three more durging the action. CAL did a great job and was the better team. Will be very surprised if their not in Lexington come December.
