  1. I was not at last night’s game. From previous Cru games I watched, I think floor leadership is missing. Need someone to “direct traffic” on defense. I also question the line up and playing time decisions. Faust is loyal to his seniors and that is admirable, for sure. But talent is talent and that’s who has to play to get the results, IMO.
  2. Croyle! Kid is fast and can score and does not give up. He can’t do his thing from the bench. Needs more minutes, IMO.
  3. PK called on the Cru, during the first minute of a 5 minute sudden death overtime. Game ended right then and there. Congrats Crusaders on a great season! It sure was a fun ride! Good luck to all the seniors. You gave it your all both in the classroom and on the field over the last 4 years.
  4. All A final from Frankfort. Hard fought game. Cru scored first, then Collegiate tied it. Half time score was 1-1. Congratulations to Louisville Collegiate, 2017 All A soccer champions.
  5. At the commencement of the match at around 10pm on Thursday, Sept. 15th, 2017, the announcer at the game said, "Ryle is now 10-0". I got nothing else to add. Clearly no intent on my part to put wrong info on the.board. Not sure what the big deal is? :idunno:
  6. Final from Simon Kenton. Carter Kunstek with the header. Great work by goalie Michael Schafer and the rest of the defense. Crusaders will travel to Frankfort on Saturday for the All A tournament.
  7. Blade Grass was out with an injury. Apparently it was a "cut". Hope he is healed by Saturday's game. But, let's be honest, and no offense to Blade Grass as he is a fine player indeed---but the Crusaders are hanging in there without him.
  8. Game was played at Calvary Christian. "Crusaders hang on" is just phrasing.
  9. Final. Cru's Jake Maher gets the first goal at 17 min. in the game. At the 20 min. mark, Brennan Sanders gets the goal putting St Henry up 2-0. Just before the half, freshman Ben Durrough shoots and scores, putting the crew up 3-0 at the half. With 27 minutes remaining in the game, the Cougars get a free kick and score. Crusaders hang on with the 3-1 lead until the clock runs out.
  10. Crusaders got the win without two of their key players, Sanders and Grass.
  11. Final from Union. Congrats to Ryle on the win. Very exciting game. Crusaders gave the Raiders all they could handle. Scoreless until the last 10 minutes when Ryle's Workman scores on a corner kick. Ryle is now 10-0.
  12. Final from Pendry Park. Another shut out game by St Henry's goalie, Michael Schaefer. Goal by Jonathon Litzler. Hard fought game by both teams.
