  1. Congrats to the Jumpers on a great year. Score does not show the battle that was on in the first half. They grow those boys wide in Somerset.
  2. Can’t discount any team that makes it to this week-end. Hoping for a good game with no injuries or stupid penalties.
  3. By definition if you do something all the time it’s not special. My point was that this is routine to several programs and it is expected and not special. Walton Verona should be super excited this year it is special for them. Trinity for example is here I’m sure just about every year. They earned their spot in the semifinals by beating a very average Ballard team twice. To me that’s not very “special”. Absurd or not, that’s my opinion. No knock to the great teams that do this each and every year, but it’s not special for them if they expect to be practicing each year.
  4. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to ask that question this year on just about every thread.
  5. CAL is having to travel two years in a row as well. Sucks for team and fans. Cross bracketing has not been beneficial to several programs in this regard.
  6. It’s good to get a real nonbiased opinion. Don’t be such a homer that you won’t even listen. This gentleman put a lot of time in to his response. Don’t come back with an insult because you don’t agree. Grow up.
  7. I think if you do it every year, it’s not all that special. I,m excited for the teams that this is a rarity for. They need to be excited and realize what a privilege it is to be practicing today. There are a lot of kids out there that would gladly take their place.
  8. And Trinity’s best win is? A tough schedule only means somesthing if you manage to beat one or two of the top tier teams. 0-6
  9. As a defense guy, I am still going with he is making a play on the ball. I would have to see him turn the receivers body with his off hand to call interference on this play. Again contact is allowed if making a legitimate attempt to catch or bat the ball. Looks pretty Legite with the left hand outstretched toward the ball and head focused on incoming pass. That being said I understand from this photo that the play could have been called either way. Great photo either way.
  10. No wonder no one wants to be an official.
  11. Again, this thread was started by a Mayfield fan. He has gotten a lot of play out of it though.
