  1. Impressive win over a good team. Mayfields defense played well. Corbin scored on a kickoff return, a flea flicker and against the JV.
  2. Kids the real deal. Good arm strength, good composure and makes the right decisions.
  3. When any team especially a high school team lose their QB they r gonna struggle.
  4. I stand corrected on Crittenden. Thought they were 2-2 but I Didn’t realize past years played into this years rankings. I’m not a big fan of comparing scores but I’d take that approach over comparing head to head of years past. Different players/coaches and etc.. but to each his own.
  5. I picked PT before I even remembered that Hoptown had lost their QB. I’d say PT by 21.
  6. Coaching changes is a problem but so is going from 3 schools that had 66 starters and combining them to one team. Lots of experience was taking place so those first few teams had it all size, skill, numbers and the game time experience. And a few good transfers as well. All those kids have come and gone. So now the numbers game is leveling out as far as development and experience. Be interesting to see how it plays out over the next few years. I'd say instead of being good every year like the first 4-5 years they might slip and be really good every 3-4 years.
  7. Never understood why a small school would ever hate on another small school.
  8. You nailed it. Good luck the rest of the season!!!
  9. I’m not knocking PT at all they r solid and will get better every game if they continue with that intensity and discipline. But that was as close as that game could’ve been. The reason PT couldn’t stop Mayfield is because they were clicking on all cylinders. Line blocked awesome, backs ran hard and Stinson was dead on and he has a gun of an arm. I think he finished with 6 incompletions and 4 of those were in the receivers hands and dropped. Good luck to PT the rest of the way.
