  1. According to a tweet I saw that first game is against J-Town, not CAL.
  2. Fern Creek and Butler scrimmaged last week. Varsity played 3 quarters and FC had a 1 score advantage at that time.
  3. South Oldham has some “old school football” talent and has been coached extremely well for a number of seasons. It wouldn’t shock me to see them there and a little bit of me hopes they can pull off some “upsets“ and at least be on the dance floor. However, it’s a tall task for whoever makes it out of 5A this year.
  4. If defense wins championships. I’ll take central in this one by a touchdown. Give me North in the playoffs. Should no doubt be fast and physical games between these two.
  5. I think everyone not wearing orange and black last night can agree on this one.
  6. As much as Central has proven me wrong year after year, I still haven’t learned. Give me Waggener in a very close one here.
  7. Male scores early and often in this one. 50+ with JV guys getting plenty of reps.
  8. Only thing I’d change is 31-28 X. Very much agree with your statement.
  9. It’s hard to get a read on who exactly Butler is with their schedule. I think this has the potential to be a pretty good ball game and I think we will learn more about each of these teams this Friday.
  10. One of the bigger issues I think we will see moving forward with this seeding the regionals thing is going to be after the first 2 years. If a program is struggling let’s just say in these first 2 years they will have a tough time fielding a schedule because any team with serious playoff run thoughts will stay away from the “gimme games” as that won’t help them any. Just my two cents about it.
  11. T’s & P’s to everyone involved. Such a horrible situation.
