  1. Had the pleasure to see Dre Boyd play 3 times this summer. Once in AAU action and twice in summer league. It appears sagging off of him forcing him to shoot the 3 is no longer an option.
  2. Muhlenberg County 57 Warren Central 51 Madisonville N. Hopkins 65 Warren Central 64 Madisonville N. Hopkins 49 Muhlenberg County 46
  3. Reward defensive play. Adapt a shot clock.
  4. The 4 regions I follow closely 1st. McCracken County 2nd. Madisonville North Hopkins 3rd. Muhlenberg County 4th. Bowling Green Bowling Green should be on everyone’s watch list.
  5. The Gatorade Association championship tourney is being held in Lex this year.
  6. DSP out of Owensboro is competing in the 15U division I do believe
  7. R1 Breck over Ohio OC over Grayson Muhlenberg over Edmonson Meade over Owensboro (upset alert)
  8. Central's Dre Boyd has to develop a jump shot. He was left open beyond the arc all night and he never looked to shoot. He is obviously an elite athlete but is seriously lacking in the mid/long range game. If he develops this skill over the coming months there might not be anyone who could guard him in the 14th.
  9. Muhlenberg County came out running, setting the pace for the entire game catching Ohio County on their heels. Ohio County was able to trim the Mustangs tip to buzzer lead to 6 in the 3rd however it never felt close.
  10. Muhelenberg County with a new starting 5 for as many weeks, all leading to loses.
  11. Since Muhlenberg county's very successful holiday tourneys (5-1) against some very good teams, the Mustangs seem to have had zero consistency. Offensive plan of attack, defensive strategy, and starting line ups/rotations are a crap shoot. Not real sure what the young coach Kyle Eades is attempting to accomplish however his timing is odd to make such drastic changes to a team that has proven they can win once the bridle comes off.
  12. Bowling Green brought in the W tonight at home against Muhlenberg Co. The young Mustangs played well however the length and experience of Bowling Green proved to much. Sophomore Isaiah Mason of Bowling Green led all scorers with 20 pts, while sophomore Nash Divine of Muhlenberg County tried to keep pace with 19pts.
