  1. This will never hurt kids as long as its constructive and with passion, heck kids(girls) need a little animation and enthusiasm. I would rather have one with passion and enthusiasm. If players match their coach's passion then teams will be a tough out for anyone. I would rather watch that then the stick in the moods on the sidelines.
  2. Word on the street is that Reitz pulled his name. Stapleton makes the most sense, will work underneath from ground up and his roots are close by.
  3. 5 of the 12 spots taken by the head coach and assistant coaches team, now thats taking care of your own.
  4. What is DeSarae Chambers doing these days? I know she has some head coaching experience in the past.
  5. There are a couple of former head coaches on the Mason County bench in Jerry Ormes and Paula Buser that would be close to Bracken in location and fit the need of an experienced head coach.
  6. Don't feel sorry for the folks over at Bracken one bit, with the exception of the kids. They had a guy(Kelsch) that gave his heart and soul to Bracken and brought them tons of success only to have a bunch parents allowed to come in and run him out! Hope they get the next coach right! Lets hear some names as the next one to fill the role.
  7. I don't agree with you on this statement, jv games are an indication as to what a program is built on or around just as your freshmen teams, middle school teams, its starts with feeder system, and then your designated teams leading to varsity. If jv didn't matter, then why have the team and why play the games. In your schools case, what would a kid look forward to if it never got a chance to play varsity? Your jv kids as long as they are continuing to look into the window of new kids coming into the program will never play on the varsity level. I am not saying whats right and wrong with GRC and their new players, but don't make a statement that jv games don't matter. They do matter, they are used for the development and give kids necessary court time to prepare and gain in game confidence for the next level. Nothing replaces playing....
  8. The expectations and talk that was heard and put on about this group was totally unfair to these kids over the course of their career. Most of the talk that was heard was by families and fan base based on what this group of kids did at a young age playing summer basketball. Over the long run, other kids along with their teams got better along the way and winning regional titles are extremely hard to due. Thats why when your on the grand stage, you better embrace it because championships are not ever given, they are earned! Best of luck to that senior class!
  9. I think this is a thought amongst many but in the end, everything must line up on GRC end or would this be permitted to add players every year? If khsaa doesn't step in then all must be right and legal I guess???
  10. Those kids under Crean from my viewpoint last night did not play hard at all.
  11. Not saying your station hasn't been supportive- don't believe that was ever said! Said it would be an injustice if that decision was made!
  12. This is a injustice to the community of Winchester and the kids of GRC should this not be broadcasted!
