Tua should sit the next game and rest on the bye week. If he is not 100% healthy when we play LSU, it is gonna be ugly. Nick Saban either doesn't have the confidence in Hurts to beat Missouri and Tennessee or he is being really careless with Tua's future.

I will scream this from the top of my lungs. Going to LSU is extremely difficult when they are an average team. Winning in that stadium when they are good is almost impossible. They're talent and SPEED is superior to every team that comes into that stadium not named Alabama and they are not afraid of anyone. If you catch them outside of Tiger stadium, they can be had. When they are good and playing at home it's a crazy place to play.

I'm just poking and having fun. ND is a very good team. They are on par with every team competing for the title including Bama. They can beat anyone on any given day. That defense is nasty, and once Kelly gets a good feel for what Book is really good at and really bad at, the offense will be on par as well.

I understand totally where you're coming from. But most people think that Saban is very good at game planning with a long time to prepare. More than that, it will give the team time to get healthy like last season. Bama doesn't beat Clemson or Georgia if they don't have time to heal up. Saban is 10-0 in opening season games at Bama. Most of them weren't cupcakes.

You are spot on. it is the biggest lie told about Bama's defenses. Of course the mobile quarterback helps; but what really kills Bama is a qb that can make timely throws into small windows. Watson and Cardale Jones feasted on man coverages and being able to move out of the pocket on occasion. This team is different. It could be the worst defense we've had since 2007. They're not bad, they're just not really good.

I think the exact opposite holds true. During the playoffs, Bama will be healthy. And with weeks to prepare for a team, Saban is usually lights out.(excluding Zeke and Deshaun Watson)

John Hardin will be much better than expected. There is a group of talented players still on the roster. I wouldn't be shocked at all with a regional final appearance.

My team is Bama. I'm very confident in saying tOSU, LSU, and Clemson would give Bama all they want and then some. Injuries have caught up to the offense, and if Tua doesn't get very healthy soon, LSU will be a problem.

John Hardin is in extreme transition. I'm hearing that the enrollment numbers are continuing to dwindle. The middle school program that feeds the school is doing awful in football, the next couple of years will be interesting.

The Heisman will be won or lost in November. Tua is great but he will have to go to Death Valley and beat that LSU defense. And Haskins will have to beat Michigan.

Join the club brother, don't mean to highjack the thread but looks alot like Bama. I told you so. Both secondaries got exposed, at least your linebackers are playing well.

No group of 5 team should compete for a national championship until they play a power 5 schedule. So they can see what it feels like to have their depth depleted from injuries going against top competition week after week. To play a game against top competition with your 3rd string OT, LB, CB etc etc. It's not apples to apples.

I've always thought to expand it to 6. if you win a power 5 conference; then you should be in the playoffs IMO. I can say that because the team I cheer has a good chance to make it in that number. If I were a UCF or another group of 5 fan then i would definitely want it to be 16.

Nick Saban says this is the reason that he tries to play a power 5 opponent on opening day. He has the total focus of the team during summer workouts as well as fall practices for the upcoming game. When they played a group of 5 team to open the season, he says the practices during the summer and fall were non productive. The reality of the situation is if you give UCF's schedule to Michigan State, Kentucky, Miami, USC, South Carolina etc...

In a one game setting a lot of teams outside of the top 25 can win against the top 25. That's the nature of college football. Power 5 teams playing UCF will always be at a disadvantage. If you win; you were supposed to hence nothing gained. But whoa if you lose all hell breaks loose. They just won't demand the type of preparation and attention from the players that they deserve.

UCF will never get anybody's best shot. Which is unfortunate, I happen to think they are a very good team. Most Power 5 teams would not prepare the right way and give UCF the attention needed to beat them. It's not UCF's fault; it's just the way it is. With that being said, assuming both teams were on their A games; I would say they would beat about 6 or 7 of the teams in the top 25.

No chance. If the Irish is undefeated; I think they are in. Clemson's schedule is atrocious at this point. The PAC 12 is done already, their best hope is Washington but that loss to Auburn looms large. The only two sure spots as of 2 October is Ohio State and the SEC winner. Two spots left for Clemson, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame. Assuming they all go undefeated; my paycheck is on Notre Dame getting in.

Absolutely, I was drawing comparison to the 2012 team where things just fell into place for Notre Dame en route to getting steam rolled by Bama in the championship game. Things are falling into place for the Irish again this year and in the end an undefeated Notre Dame team will not be left out of the playoffs.

This looks a lot like 2012. A couple of breaks here and some overrated opponents to hype up the Irish. Vandy should have beat this team and Stanford is overrated with a gift from Oregon. Up next is Va Tech; yep the same one that loss to ODU. They are currently ranked in the top 25. Could be wrong but ND is set up pretty for the playoffs.

I'm a college football fan brother. I know what Alabama REALLY looks like. Oline and Linebackers are just too average this year. For Ohio State to win that game down 12; they are the number one team right now. See me after the LSU game and I might change my mind. Congrats on the W

No you're absolutely crazy if you think Notre Dame is a better team than Alabama. Michigan and Stanford are frauds and so is Notre Dame. You look at the game, you analyze the film by looking at the personnel and see how they handle the opponent. At this point you can't go by the resume; because you really don't know much about any team 4 or 5 games into a season.

Absolutely Penn State is a really good team. I was way off on them, and playing in that environment. That might be the toughest stadium to play in the country. Buckeyes handled their business. Ohio State looked really good; I was really impressed with them. Good win

Well as for UGA; Fields isn't close to being ready so Frohm will have to get it done. I guess Clemson and Dabo realized that their schedule is so bad that they can afford to let Lawrence get game reps and get better.

Tua has to go to LSU at night. Very few defenses have the team speed that LSU has. It's their super bowl every year; even more so this year because they will probably be undefeated. It will be his biggest test thus far; even bigger than the title game.

I think this situation is a bit different than Bama's. It was painfully obvious that Hurts was not a good passer and his backup was a stud; even last year. Tua came in and won the natty so he has some cache under his belt. Watching Lawrence and Bryant in the Texas A&M game I don't think you can say that Lawrence was the better qb. If not for Bryant; Clemson loses that game. So i'm sure that Bryant is a bit confused at this point. I'm glad...

I'm way more in love with Ohio State than Clemson. I just don't like their offense a lot. They're legit but they're not on Ohio States level in my opinion. They just named Lawrence the starter so that might change

The entire system would be changed immediately if an undefeated Notre Dame gets left out of the playoffs. The media is too in love with Clemson to leave them out so I'm guessing Oklahoma. Either way if an undefeated conf champ is left out; we're moving to 6 teams immediately.
