With Burrow I was talking about he has just been in the system for less than a year. New everything to him so I don't know how much they will gel. The Bama schedule thing is old to me....it is what it is. Their cross divisional rival is Tennessee and they drew Missouri this year. One of the main reasons Tennessee is bad is because Bama is good. The fact is other than Georgia no one in the east would make their schedule tougher.

LSU could easily win that game, but I don't know what kind of team LSU is this year. They don't have good running backs believe it or not. I'm hearing that Burrow is the real deal but it's one year. Tua will be fine, that's the talking heads trying to find holes in his game. Bama's issue will be with it's secondary early on, but they don't play anyone with enough "dudes" early on to beat them.

For the pundits to just discount Barkley's presence and more importantly the TE they loss is crazy. Franklin hasn't been able to stock the cupboard to just plug and play just yet I don't think

The conference as a whole will perform much better than expected. Miss State, LSU, Auburn, Bama, UGA, South Carolina and probably at some point Texas A@M and/or Florida will be top 25 teams. South Carolina will give UGA fits early in the season and LSU will be all Bama wants when they head to Death Valley late in the season.

Georgia is living off of last year's success. There is film on Frohm now and defenses will adjust. They walked through what might be considered the worst eastern conf in decades. They have to replace key starters on defense especially at the LB corps. Everyone just assumes because he coached with Saban that he can coach like Saban. They will be good but I think it is way too early to give Kirby this sort of benefit of doubt.

Penn State and Michigan State are overrated. I don't know why Michigan State keeps getting a pass. For the conferences sake, let's hope Urban stays. The Buckeyes are the only team in the conference that can push for a national title.

I love RJ's game but I have always been concerned at how he would be used on the offensive end. He's not a great shooter and a lot of his points come with dominating the ball. He's very crafty and stays at the free throw line. I think the 5/15 predictions might be close to being right.

Football recruiting and exposure is night and day to basketball recruiting and exposure. Basketball recruiting and exposure is primarily done at AAU events not at the local high school gym. The prep school route would allow Zion to play and practice against top competition daily. I don't know the Harmon's plans or desires but playing at a small high school in KY is a bit baffling.

I hope Urban did the right thing and is able to come back. He's good for CFB. Let it play out and get all the facts first.

Why do you think they chose Day to be interim over Schiano or Wilson. IF and big IF (because I think Urban comes back) he doesn't come back do you think they will undermine Day's authority.

I'm as big of Dontaie Allen's fan as anybody, but Jeffries is 100% not worried about battling Allen for playing time. Jeffries played with CP3's AAU team this past week at his tournament....probably some promises and movement happening during that week. The cameras continued to point to Penny Hardaway in the stands. Could all be coincidence.

Why all the love for Clemson though? The defense will be nasty but their hopes are riding on a true freshman qb.....I like PSU and UGA more than Clemson

Auburn, Penn State, and Wisky. Problem with Auburn is that they have to go on the road to Bama and Georgia within a 3 week span.
