A little too high for LaRue I think. They are big and physical for sure but unless they get some playmakers, they're just a grind you out offensive rebounding team.

All the love for Oklahoma and they have beat maybe 2 people with a winning record. One of those wins was against Army. Oklahoma is a fraud with a dynamic offense. Ohio State would certainly get in over OK. Everyone has this narrative of Ohio State because they assume Michigan will win the game. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

For the good of college football, a one loss Bama can't get in over a 1 loss BIG 10 Champ. Just can't happen. There's too much SEC fatigue and this whole November schedule thing. It's unfortunate but I don't think it can happen. Now a one loss West Virginia may not get in over a one loss Bama.

But he wouldn't be the must have/can't miss guy that everyone is selling. Again I'm killing time, I don't hate Brohm, and I think he's a really good coach. I guess the answer lies in what Louisville is expecting as it pertains to wins and titles.

Absolutely it's too early to write any of them off. It's just an opinion. I've seen Hagans and Quickley enough on the circuit though. They never really were guards that distributed or set up offenses. Hagans bullied his way to the basket and played relentless defense. Quickley more less scored with the 3 ball. Of the two, I do think Quickley could become the true PG faster than Hagans.

He is a Louisville guy with hometown connections. This is the MAJOR reason he is seen as a must have for Louisville IMO. I would be careful if I were Louisville; they can't miss with this hire.

I need to pass some time so I'll indulge. Other than him winning a bowl game at Purdue, what makes him a Louisville must have/can't miss. Again he may be a great coach at Louisville, but it is far from a slam dunk.

I don't know what lens that would be. He has a two year mediocre record in one of the worst divisions in Power 5 football. Yes, he beat Ohio State, in the same year that he loss to Eastern Michigan. He may end up being a great coach at Louisville, but there is little evidence to suggest that other than he is one of their own. Winning at Western Ky is a lot different than winning at Louisville.

Playing big time, high level D1 basketball is really hard. When this class was signed, a lot of people were scratching their heads. Hagans and Quickley on the circuit didn't show UK talent consistently as PG's. They both scored well, and Hagans was relentless on defense; but they didn't show PG talent. I don't think either one of those two can play PG this season for UK. Herro is a very nice complimentary player for UK's level. But most...

There are rumors that Kiffen would leave FAU for an OC position. For Louisville to be successful they are gonna have to recruit Florida. For all the love for Brohm, Purdue isn't exactly killing it this year. I would go Campbell, feel out Matt Rule at Baylor, Day and Brohm.

John Hardin will be hard to beat this season. That's a tested group that's played in big time games.

That is crazy. As long as Tre Jones stays healthy we will be fine I think. He lets all those other guys be themselves. I love this team.

Does it seem like Barrett forces some bad shots. Zion was like 11-13. He needs more shots I think. I'll take it overall though.

Irony in a nutshell. The BCS had it right the whole time. But the country had a fit in 2011 when Bama and LSU had the rematch. Everybody wanted a playoff system to stop Bama and the SEC from ruining college football. Fast forward and here we are again, and Mike Slive new it when they were proposing the 4 team playoff. The SEC will for the most part always have 2 teams fighting for 4 spots. Alabama, as long as Saban stays around will always...

Not gonna lie, it was a good win. But the injuries are starting to pile up. Riggs, Smith, Najee Harris, and Jalen Hurts are all questionable for Saturday.

UCF won't lose a game this year. There is no one on their schedule that will beat them which is precisely the point. I don't know who keeps anointing Temple, Cincy, and USF as good teams. Navy is down this year as well. The large portion of what I saw last night was a very good offense, a horrible defense, and a conference hell bent on keeping UCF in the New Years 6 bowl game for the money. The officiating in that game was ridiculous. ...

Alabama has the Head Coach that LSU had when they were brought back from the dead. He now coaches LSU's arch rival and nemesis in Alabama. To top it off; he has won 5 national championships with said nemesis. Oh what could have been for LSU. The Alabama/LSU rivalry is like no other. 42 players were drafted from the 2011 game alone. The athleticism on these two teams is unmatched. Add to that playing in the real Death Valley at night and...

I've been saying it all season long. Crazy things happen at Death Valley. I think we take care of business though. Hopefully we'll get healthy. Everyone is worried about Tua's knee, but it's Jalen Hurts who just had surgery on a bad ankle. I just don't think LSU has enough offense to beat this Alabama team. I said the same thing in 2012 though with McCarron, Lacey and crew and it took a miracle for us to get out with a win. I keep...

I think this season is the first season that we get some real chaos. There is a potential for some blue blood programs to not make the tournament with some real legitimate arguments. Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, Bama, LSU, Georgia, Notre Dame. What would happen to a non SEC Champ one loss Bama? A one loss Notre Dame?

I mentioned nothing about the spotlight. The exposure that I referred to is the attention from colleges and recruiting. I am in favor of the kid getting to play a sport that he obviously loves. I'm always amazed at the amount of disdain and hate showed towards situations like this. I wished him and his family well moving forward. I hope they get a handle on things and figure out the best viable option for Zion. I would hope that's what all...
