  1. Classification would kill high school basketball in the state of Kentucky
  2. Per twitter, Jake Ohmer has officially committed to Western Kentucky University
  3. Why come back to earth? It's march. Ride the confidence and pull of another upset. But good game by both squads!! Mercer just had to much talent in this one.
  4. Mason returns everyone but Fox, which I do agree is a huge loss. Perkins may not fill up a stat sheet but he definitely makes a major impact when he's on the floor. Dunnaway and Lofton make up one of the best returning back courts in the region. They are legit. Wouldn't put them above GRC but they are right behind them. Campbell and Scott both lose their major pieces. I don't see anyone on ether of those teams capable of leading a team to a regional title by themselves, and collectively they are less talented than the before mentioned. The team that's going to be hard to read and unpredictable all year long will be Pendleton, they've got the best player in the region and it's not even close. Belcher can coach, and as long as they don't look ahead or get upset early they could be playing ball at Rupp at the end of the year Also don't wanna leave out Paris and Montgomery County, sleepers for sure
  5. May not be considered a top team but keep an eye on Jake Ohmer, kids a blast to watch
  6. Keep your head up dude, the kid proved to anyone in their right mind This season he's a first team player.. he wins the game last night and people talk about him for POY just ran into Ohmer who IMO is the best player in the region and it's not close. Paris had a heck of a season and impressed a lot of people!! Hustle goes along way and those kids played there heart out!
  7. I'm not saying they'd beat every region in the state. But I wouldn't trade that group for anyone IMO that's a solid group of players, I don't think the regions you mentioned would blow this team out or anything.
  8. And you obviously haven't seen Paris play if you think Wells doesn't deserve first team honors
  9. I'm convinced Paris would beat Campbell right now, Campbell has had a really disappointing regional tournament in terms of performance, they have played one good half of basketball so far. That being said it's pretty evident Hegyi is THE GUY on that team but I don't see Bertsch as a first team guy. Wells is a player!! I'd take that first team up against any other regions first team any day of the week!!
  10. Who are you taking off of the first team then for him to replace?
  11. Just because the discussion wasn't on here doesn't mean it wasn't being talked about. The girls program at GRC has been talked about majorly by a lot of 10th region people. Win or lose that game I think everyone would like to know what is so appealing about Winchester?? Doesn't seem like that nice of a place but maybe there is something there that we all don't know about, that's all I'm seriously wanting to know??
  12. There isn't anything to reason. The tread asks what was the effect that transfers had in your area. A team full of transfers won the regional tournament, whats so wrong with getting called out for it? There was Scott county in the early decade of the 2000's and there is GRC now. Everyone just has to accept that's how it's going to be and play the games.
  13. Those students barley showed up for Bracken County games all season long lol But hate to see this graduating class leave BCHS. Probably the most talented group they will ever have
  14. Wouldn't consider it to be completely down. It won't be as deep but the top 2 teams are legit.
