  1. Hard to be an elite team with only 5 players. Just as with all teams Spencer has flaws and has been exposed. Their schedule has been tougher than years past I still think that pays off in the end. They need to clean up some things and continue to work. They don't have a huge margin for error!
  2. Looks like Wolfe County found their guy...Chad Vanderhoof has been selected as the 1st football coach. The school's intent is to have the Wolves enter KHSAA varsity football play for the 2021 season. Wolfe County Schools | Wolfe County High School Announces Football Coach
  3. The Spencer schedule is definitely tougher this year. They are a solid team, don't think they have played as well this season as some thought they would. The ball is in their court, I am sure by the end of the year they will be in the 17-18 win total which isn't too bad versus this schedule. They should be prepped for the post season.
  4. I am definitely not one to make excuses for any team. However Spencer has 6 players it can play and lost their 6th man, a guard to injury in the 1st half of the South Miami game. The kids hit a wall and the pressure that South Miami put on them forced them into way too many turnovers in the 3rd qtr. They definitely held there own and the tournament organizers were extremely happy with the team and their support.
  5. The 8th Region is wide open. Walton is probably the favorite but I can see 6-8 teams that could say we can win this. Need to see which coach can bring their team along and have them peaking at the right time.
  6. Boyle buy however much Chuck wants to beat them by
  7. Really? I thought Collins lost a ton of seniors?
