  1. How is it possible that Dickmann's in Ft. Wright hasn't been mentioned yet? For me they are the standard to which all other wings I eat are compared. Haven't found any that live up to them yet.
  2. I think Jamie doing it is the only thing that could give a satisfying conclusion to his arc. Anything else will feel like his redemption was for nothing.
  3. How would you pronounce extraordinary with 4 syllables? I feel like it would be either 5: ext-ror-din-air-ee or 6: ex-tra-or-din-air-ee
  4. My only somewhat logical guesses are: Monster- Lil Wayne - the fact that he has several songs featuring the word monster including one called "I'm a monster" and his clue, which I'm paraphrasing, that he stepped away from the limelight for a while which works with him stepping away to deal with his health/drug problems. The deer- Peyton Manning- the southern accent, the hint that he's been to a super bowl, and the clue about liking horses. It all seems to fit too easily though so I'm not confident about this one. The lion- Willow Smith- If anyone fits the description of trying to break out on your own from a family of Hollywood royalty it would be Willow Smith. She's the first person that popped in my mind the second I heard that. Admittedly I had to Google how tall she was after to see if it even made sense and she's 5'7" so I'm sticking with it. Sidenote: I would love to hear the private conversations between medical doctor Ken Jeong and devout anti-vaccer Jenny McCarthy. The fact that they even got them to sit on a panel together is pretty incredible.
  5. The Office CPR scene. I've seen it probably 100 times and still literally laugh out loud every single time.
  6. That's a trick question. You can't tire of him if you can't stand him from the get go. Collinsworth is the worst color man in the game IMO. Unless the Bengals are playing I hardly ever watch Sunday night games solely because of him.
  7. What are you basing this claim on? Don't get me wrong, I love football just as much as anybody. I played from the ages of 10-18. There are of course great benefits to playing football. I learned teamwork, sacrifice, and responsibility not to mention I just had a lot of fun and great memories. However, none of those are unique to football, they are unique to playing a team sport in general. With the science becoming more and more clear of the damage that can be done even at an early age and even with proper techniques and safety regulations in place why would a parent not lean toward having their kid play a safer sport where the same valuable life lessons can be learned? I know when the time comes I'm going to have to think long and hard before letting my future sons sign up.
  8. Haha nope unfortunately not unusual at all. I had more undergrad debt than some people and combined with the master's my debt total is higher than most, but the average medical school debt is right around $200,000 though. I would assume veterinary school is right there in the same ball park.
  9. I never batted an eye at taking out loans (and still don't). With the exception of my parents covering housing in undergrad, I will be paying for the entirety of my education myself over the course of the next 20 years or so. At about $100,000 in undergrad loans, $40,000 masters degree loans, and $350,000 in medical school loans I'll by coming in just shy of a cool half million give or take when it's all said and done. I view it all as an investment in myself that hopefully will pay off in a long, happy and successful career that will be worth every penny.
  10. I'm curious about the terms? Is it like an all you can buffet? You get her company for a set amount of time and as many umm plates (to continue the buffet metaphor) as you want in that time. Or is it just one very expensive entree? If it's the latter this dude better be working on building up that stamina to get his money's worth.
  11. Are you asking opponents of religious same sex marriage or legal same sex marriage? If somebody opposes same sex marriage from a moral and religious perspective, although I'd disagree, I feel that is well within your rights to do. No religious faith should be compelled to recognize a marriage they deem to be against their beliefs. What I would argue with is when someone opposes same sex marriage from a legal perspective. I would ask those that are against legal same sex marriage, how do you justify not allowing a legal contract between two consenting adults of sound mind? Again, I'm not saying you have to recognize it as a sacrament in your church or a sacred bond with God if you don't believe it is, but from a purely secular and legal point of view how does one oppose it?
  12. I can't imagine how any neutral fan couldn't be rooting for the Jags in this one. Given their history the last 10 seasons or so they're a great underdog story. That being said I'll take the Pats over the Jags 27-24 on a game winning drive.
  13. To be fair that storyline, like many in television, was ripped from a story that happened in real life. Chinese baby, rescued from toilet, is released to grandparents - CNN That being said I couldn't stand the acting of the woman who played the female police officer. It was so over the top and unbelievable like a high schooler who just came back from acting camp. I'll probably give the show another chance, but doubtful I'll stick with it too long.
  14. What is the reasoning behind having limited or banned alcohol sales on Sunday at all?
  15. Haha I’m morally conflicted on the thought of either of us finally winning.
