  1. You did boss for expenses, do you know how much it cost to travel eat hotel and lodging for a lengthy trip? Oh word on the street is he tore it up if you are wondering or did you just get on here to talk about possible cost?
  2. Elijah McKenney the outstanding DB for Beechwood(Back2Back State Champs) has been selected to play in the prestigious Blue-Grey All-American Bowl on Dec.18th for the East Team at the worldly AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX on December 18th, 2017. What an outstanding accomplishment and opportunity for the young man!! He will be competing against some Top Notch competition, while getting an experience of a lifetime. This will be televised on ESPN 3 or Impact Football Network (Delayed Streaming), check your local listings! He is currently undecided on College choices, but has a host of schools on his list. Eastern Michigan, Valpo, EKU and others. Congrats and Good Luck Elijah!!
  3. Great observations but don't over reach Miami is a good fit. AJ is great but comparing him to Ben is reaching. Simply because he's not 6'5. Then there's other things, I think Miami is a good fit for both! They both play right away, have a chance at the league and maybe resurrect Miami's program.
  4. Castleman has 4 INT's and McKenney has 5 INT's, but what is understated here is Beechwood's Secondary as a Whole. McKenney led the State last year(All Classes) in INT's and got little to NO Action all year due to the respect factor. Castleman, Mescher and Massie roundout a very elite secondary. Raceland will pass, but after watching film, will more than likely shift to running with passing mixed in. (At least they should!) Either way those guys are some dawgs and want the Back to Back so, so bad!
  5. This should be a great game, but I believe Beechwood is on a mission! Defense is what will get the win this game. Beechwood has one of the states best DB's in McKenney a real hidden gem. Derry(Beast), Castleman(Another Stud), Heist, Mescher and Massie are just a few guys that want this real bad! Hats off to Raceland 1st apprarance in there school history! I got the Beechies tho.
  6. Don't forget about McKenney! Defense it what is keeping high when the offense struugles and we have one of the State's best corners! He takes away a whole side of the field!
  7. Just when it appeared the momentum was swinging to KCD's side. McKenney change the game for the Tigers. No doubt #11 is one of the Top DB's in the state.
  8. Oh no I'm not upset at all just seeing how there are no 1A kids on the list virtually. I don't have a player in mind per se. I brought up Beechwood merely as an example since they are State Champs...
  9. It is in fact, but I didn't go thru each and every name when I see multiple Teams with multiple players. That's 1 1A Player is that a consolation prize and that was from a Team that consistently gets guys rated but not a State Championship Team that if they make it back will be playing in their 3rd Consecutive State Title...This smells and reeks of bias and bs.
  10. Not sure but this selection process seems eternally flawed just by looking at this list. Not taking anything away from any of the kids but it seems rigged. No way off all the Kids in the State anyone can tell me no 1A Players deserve to be on this list. Makes me fade out on these type nominations and list as they are without a doubt biased and unfair!
  11. Fellas no disrespect to Anyone at all. If a 6A plays a 6A, that is like getting credit for things as a parent that you are supposed to do. CovCath has had a brutal schedule the last few years. But Year over Year the Team that has the toughest schedule is Beechwood. It's not even close! District games are out of their control. They are 1A and play perennial 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A ranked teams. Lastly I don't care about CalPreps it's bogus...
  12. Well that sounds crazy! There are no 1A kids on this list! It's ridiculous man. For instance just using Beechwood as an example they are the defending State Champion and on a path to Repeat and play in 3 Consecutive State Championships. Christian County has 2 kids at DB that got voted on this Team! No disrespect but lets look at Beechwood (Defending State Champion) Elijah McKenney at Beechwood should easily have made this list. Led the State in Ints. as a Junior (All Classes) and has given up 1 TD all season. Gets no action this year because of previous accomplishments. That's just 1 example.
  13. #11 Elijah Mckenney- CB Beechwood Led the State in ints. (All Classes 1a-6a) as a Jr. Senior year gets no action and ultimate respect from every team. They completely throw away from him. Has fueled the rest of the Secondary to have great years. High IQ and great technique!
