I wonder if she posted the tweet on a work computer. I hope that what she posted is not criminal but I have no problem with her firing. What she posted was very stupid, but I just don't believe in criminalizing thoughts.

Whether it is "OR" or "AND," it is still a personal insult. Ditto for "voters" vs. "supporters." I was a Trump voter out of desperation, but I will be a Trump supporter until he gives me a reason to oppose him. After his first half day on the job, I can't say that he has given me a reason yet.

I thought Obama wanted to give a break to those who received lengthy sentences for simple possession of small quantities of illegal drugs. This list appears to include more dealers than consumers.

Who is David Lewis Burnworth, why is he yelling, and why is he important enough to warrant quoting? Why not just quote Margaret Hartman - whose spelling, grammar, and demeanor, are all clearly superior - directly?

Then the real culprit is the judge or judges who rewarded the kid for producing an inappropriate painting. The painting should be offensive to every American and it should not be hanging in any public building..

The man-made global warming propagandists have repeatedly been caught falsifying the ground based temperature data. We have had occasional 60 and even 70 degree days in January for my entire life. Suddenly because liberal politicians like Al Gore seek more control and wealth for themselves through any means necessary, we are supposed to see such days as proof of global warming? Nonsense. Satellite monitoring of global temperatures shows no...

Sessions should enforce federal laws, just as Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch should have done. If proponents of marijuana legalization oppose federal laws against its use and distribution, then they should lobby for the repeal of federal laws prohibiting its use. I will never support appointing Attorneys General who refuse to enforce duly enacted laws. However, I think federal laws concerning drug use should be limited to the interstate...

Money should be spent where the market determines it should be spent. Battery technology must improve drastically before solar and wind energy will ever be real alternatives to fossil fuels. Nuclear energy is cost effective today and the large utility companies should be free to begin catching up with their counterparts in France and other nations. I just returned from eastern Kentucky and witnessed again how the previous administration's...

That is a great start. Anybody who throws a brick or large chunk of concrete at a police officer deserves a felony conviction and some time in a prison cell. Too often violent protesters are treated like trout in a catch and release fishing expedition. Authorities should never pass up an opportunity to jail violent criminals.

The police are showing way too much restraint in dealing with violent demonstrators. Officers should be allowed to respond to rioters hurling bricks and chunks of concrete at them with tear gas and water canons. I hope that a large number of the violent protesters spend a few nights in a DC jail, but I am afraid that they will escape unscathed and free.

I think that one could make a strong, principled case to vote for either Trump or for a third-party candidate. That is the choice that I struggled to make. In the end, I decided against casting a protest vote, but it was a very difficult decision. I don't fault those who chose to vote for third-party candidates - but I do not insult them for making that decision. I personally do not understand how people could decide to cast a vote for Hillary,...

And, apparently, no respect for those who made a different decision than yourself. Undoubtedly, there are racists and delusional people who voted in the 2016 election but claiming that ALL Trump voters fit neatly into one of those two categories is insulting and obviously nonsensical.

Nonsense. Your insult of Trump voters by claiming that they were either delusional or racists ignores the large number of Hillary-haters who were not Trump supporters but could not bring themselves to help elect a career criminal to the White House, either by voting for her or by casting a protest vote for a third-party candidate who had no chance of winning. I doubt that I will ever like Trump, but I have no doubt that Hillary Clinton was a...

IMO, Trump won the election for one reason - the alternative was unthinkable for the overwhelming majority of people not living in the liberal strongholds of New York and California. Trump won all but two Kentucky counties. I am proud of my home state for saying no to a criminal presidential candidate.

When one player dominates the ball, he turns everybody else into spectators. If JC does not develop more balance, they will suffer an embarrassing tournament exit at some point. JC has the talent to be a much better team than it is right now.

I love watching Duke lose, regardless of who they are playing, and I love watching Kentucky win, regardless of who they are playing. I really love watching UK beating Duke. No hate, just love watching other teams win when they play Duke.

What a coincidence that both Ringling Brothers and the Obama administration are folding their tents and going home at the same point in history. I am sorry to see Ringling Bros./Barnum & Bailey calling it quits.

My wife and I ate at the Old Salem Cafe in Marshall, VA. We shared orders of the best fried pickles and corn nuggets that I have ever eaten. I also had a very good fish sandwich and she had a great hamburger. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend the place and will return.

I've met the 38th and 39th Judges Advocate for the Army, LTG Dana Chipman (Retired) and LTG Flora Darpino. I have also probably met the 40th and maybe the 41st JAGs, but they have not been appointed yet. Most people have never heard of these people, but the first Army JAG was appointed by George Washington in 1776 and the next one will be appointed this fall by Donald Trump.

Read minds. If I could read minds, then I would quickly become wealthy enough to buy all of the flying contraptions that exist. In fact, I would probably avoid flying and travel in motorcades with my private security detail surrounding me. If I could read minds, then I would hire myself out as a negotiator. No more bad Iran nuke deals. No more bad trade deals. In my spare time, I might work as a police consultant, helping resolve cold...

I had skipped lunch and could not decide between the fish and pulled pork. I was expecting a small side of tater tots, but what I got was a big basket. In my defense, I did eat less than half of the tater tots. :lol2:
