  1. FWIW---Bessler's mom is a biology teacher at St Henry. Vieth's aunt is a St Henry English teacher.
  2. Wow. Congrats to NCC's Muck on making the All State Team!
  3. And you know this how? Way to throw a bunch of hardworking student athletes under the bus. Try taking the high road.
  4. St Henry players receiving Kentucky All State Team recognition are Ian Manahan, second team and Carter Kunstek, honorable mention.
  5. If players (who are not playing on Saturday in the finals) are named to the All Region Team, do said players get recognized at the commence of the regional final game on Saturday at Ryle? Asking for a friend.
  6. I was not comparing NCC and Clinton County. I was agreeing with Teemore25 that Louisville Collegiate has pounded some teams this year.
  7. Agree. Louisville Collegiate had 10 goals in the quarterfinals vs Clinton County. Congrats to NCC for reaching the semis.
  8. Score from game played on Tuesday night (9-20) at Simon Kenton.
  9. Ok--why not? From my vantage point, the first PK awarded to Snow came out of nowhere. Snow was turned the other direction and running out of the box to go for the ball. He stumbled and fell just inside the box and a PK was awarded.
  10. Same ref at both Cooper and NCC game. Congrats to Cooper on a well played game. Love me some Adam Snow. Just going to wallow in my sour grapes that goes great with my whine and cheese. Would disect the game with all the other BGP folks---but let's face it, tough crowd here in the BGP soccer forum. Tough day for the Crusaders as today was the funeral for the father of one of the players. Loved the Cru faithful sporting the Patriotic RWB.
  11. Final. Entertainment provided by lively student sections on both sides.
  12. Halftime score was 2-0 St Henry. NCC gets a goal with less than 10 minutes remaining in the game. Scoreboard and clock were not working the second half of the game. At about 3 minutes past what I had timed as regulation, a foul was called in the box and NCC makes the PK.
  13. Final. Holy Cross' keeper is outstanding. Very athletic and stopped several goals.
  14. Brossart scores right off the kick-off. Later in the half, Brossart breaks away and gets another one. Second half was like a whole different St Henry team. Very little action past midfield as the Cru was clearly on a mission. An outstanding assist from (?) set Sanders up nicely for the goal. Later, a Brossart foul in the box and Sanders makes the PK. Now the score is tied. A Crusader corner kick provides the opportunity---and Josh Meyers jumps up and heads it in the goal. Overall great Cru team play and communication in the second half. Don't know why it took 2 and 1/2 games to find it. (Feel free to add/correct names here.)
