  1. Illinois has 4 classes of high school basketball. If you are comparing beating Evanston Illinois to being able to compete on a National Prep Circuit you are delusional.
  2. If he transfers, which is just speculation, he will go to a prep school outside of KY.
  3. Mcneil is a senior who paid his dues. He is legit POY.
  4. Sounds like a case of trying to showcase other good players in the region at the expense of the HM prospect. Perhaps the coaches felt like voting CJ down on the basis of his time missed might result in exposure for other players? If that is the case then that logic is extremely flawed.
  5. Are these awards in addition to or in place of typical All District and All Region awards?
  6. Yes Feltner is a baller. At 44% from three he is definitely one of the best shooters in the region.
  7. Game in and game out in KY you do not face complete teams of D1 athletes. Lots of great players from KY have had their athletic ability at the D1 level questioned. Make no mistake about it his play for Indiana Elite in the spring and summer is what helped him most for name recognition. How he defends and moves against Addidas Gold competition proves he is D1 while his consistency and play at CCHS backs that up even more. I hope CJ is opening eyes across D1 and opens doors for kids in KY for years to come.
  8. I'm not familiar with the region. There were some offseason transfers that make this game interesting to me as an outsider. I had no idea Southwestern was stacked with so much talent last season. Are they really that much better than Pulaski even with the player movements?
  9. Bullitt Central will have a long year. They typically schedule soft which will help. They won 9 or 10 games last year and were in contention heading into the 4th in 17 or 18 of their games. I would expect them to struggle with defense, rebounding, and ball handling. They will shoot the ball well, but not good enough to overcome the defensive lapses against most decent opponents. This could be the year that Evangel passes them in the 23rd. My prediction is a 5 win season, and based on the talent that will be a true testament to the young head coaches ability to coach then up and stay positive.
