  1. Yes, doesn't look like anyone had a good game for Ky, in either game. The three players that weren't at the Sat game didnt play much in the Friday game, so I am wondering if they were upset about that and chose not to participate in the Sat game ? I hope this wasn't the case as I am sure there were a lot of other deserving players in the State who would have loved to be part of the All-Star team and would not have left the team. Does anyone know, I am curios ?
  2. Did three of the players not make the trip to Indiana on Saturday ? I saw a twitter pic of the team after the Sat game and only 9 players were shown, and the three not in the pic were also not in the boxscore/stats that were posted,
  3. Watched this game on bluegrass sports nation Facebook page and Wolfe County controlled from start to finish. GRC had their entire team playing but it didn't matter, Johnson and Tolson for Wolfe looked like one of the best backcourts in the state, and everybody for Wolfe really played well, that was a great win , the Wolves will be hard to beat in the postseason in the 14th region.
  4. What a great win for the Wolves, I am glad I decided to go watch the first round of 14th regional tourney, 2 great games with Knott getting by Estil by 1 point. Wolfe County was just the better team, Jaz Johnson and Thompson shot the lights out for Wolfe. DeAndree Reed guarded Johnson all night but couldnt keep him from scoring. Wolfe County has a lot of players that can step up, the PG Tolson had the big game and game winner in the district championship, and Wolfe's bench played a key role as well. Congrats to the Wolves, should be a great semifinal game vs. Knott on Sunday.
  5. Sylar Ritchie is a 6'7 eighth grader for Wolfe County and has started for the Wolves all year at center; and Rydge Beverly is a 5'10 guard, who plays a lot of minutes for Perry Co Central - could see either one of these in Rupp in a few weeks.
  6. I like the list except I agree that JC should be above Owsley considering their win last week at Booneville, and I would drop KCC to 4, below Hazard, Perry, and Wolfe as the have lost 5/6 and the win was actually over Wolfe at KCC , but it took 38 FT attempts to Wolfes 11, to get the W - that won't happen in the region, I think the Pats will struggle without McGuire in the postseason, But, should be a great regiona tourney as several teams are capable of winning, Hazard remains the clear favorite though.
  7. I think Boyd stays #2 , based on their quality of wins - Ashland is clear clear #1 now, but a lot can happen between now and March
  8. Johnson was really good for Catholic, the Catholic press really hurt Beechwood. The best player for Beechwood, Draud didn't force anything but he wasn't able to score at all unless open from screens or Catholic losing focus on D, he was not able to create anything at all on his own. Beechwood was just outmatched all the way around.
  9. This list right on, nice work "All State Baseball" - the All A tournament in a few weeks should be a dandy and the regular region has multiple strong contenders; everyone is chasing Hazard right now as they are the clear frontrunner.
  10. Good list - looks right to be for now / I was really shocked to see the score in the LCA/Buckhorn game, not sure what happened but the 'Horn is a solid team with a good coach, they will respond I'm sure.
  11. The way Estill plays is what makes them so tough to win against, that style of play isn't for everyone but it makes Estill a threat to win every game, and without that style of play I don't think that would be the case.
  12. Had to check the stats myself on KHSAA scoreboard : This is in the comment section "Deven Stone scored a school-record 57 points, including the 1500th of his career. Freshman Jaz Johnson recorded his first career triple-double."
  13. Do you still have tickets ? I am planning on taking my son tomorrow and am looking for good seats, what is your asking price ?

  14. KBA Website said Wolfe County won 57-56 over Conner
