  1. Well that was a terrible year to be watching Conner softball. Thanks for Jim Hicks for stepping in to a bad situation. Between a coach making a bonehead decision to get this season off to a bad start, a player whose family has been a challenge, whose dad wanted to fight people, a senior who was suspended twice for multiple games for various violations, and then all of the rain it was a wasted year. I feel for the seniors who were good teammates as well as the underclassmen who had to go through this. Here's hoping to me getting to enjoy softball next year at Conner.
  2. Run rule in 5 innings. Is there any truth to the rumor that all Eagle players had to have their bags searched and phones confiscated before the coach gave the post game speech?
  3. What happened after the game ended? I heard a coach got pretty upset.
  4. Cooper is just so inexperienced it seems. Cooper has some soul-searching to do about the program.
  5. Conner needs to open it up and not just let the in house guy get the job.
  6. Reid was better than the score indicates.
  7. You make it sound like she was batting or down in her stance. From what the police were asking that's not the case. Still odd to call police but if they thought she intentionally tried to hurt her then I could see an emotional reaction being made.
  8. One story is that the catcher wasn't behind the plate at all. She was on the plate talking to someone else.
  9. Does it really matter that the coach had problems with the family? The only issue is around intent. Did she put the ball in the pitching machine knowing the player was not ready?
  10. I was told the same thing. But that doesn't mean the coach was blameless in what happened. Its a bad way to start the season.
