  1. I always heard that there was an agreement between Wesley Christian and the KHSAA they wouldn't take Kentucky kids, not sure how accurate that is. Looking at their roster, not sure they take any American kids either. Looks like their roster is all foreign exchange kids .
  2. Where is the new prep school in Nashville going? Do you guys consider Wesley Christian in Kentucky a prep school?
  3. 17u, 16u, etc used to be the rules but they have changed over the last 20 years . They call 17u seniors to be, 16u sophomores to be, 15u freshman to be etc. There is really no age limit when you get to high school because it is grade based. If you are playing NCAA events there isn't really an age limit unless the tournament has one itself. The AAU still has age limits but nobody plays AAU any good, all the shoe teams send their "B" teams to AAU and their 17u rules are you can't turn 19 before September 1st, so yes most are 18 playing 17u. Fitzgerald is 17 and will turn 18 on his next birthday, not sure if that is this coming call or spring but his next birthday he will be 18 and yes eligible as a senior cause he will turn 19 after his August 1st of his senior year. AAU rules and Kentucky rules differ slightly cause a Kentucky kid turning 19 in August of his senior year would be eligible in Kentucky but not in AAU since their cutoff is September 1 .
  4. That is the rules, it isn't hard to understand. He isn't compared to 16 year olds he is compared to players in the 2018 class. It does not matter if he is 20 to be honest cause when you go to college there is no age. Scholarships will be given out to the 2018 class not the 16 year olds then a set of 17 year old and so forth. The rest of the 2018 class might as well adapt and not whine cause that's who they are competing with, blame the parents for not holding theirs back and applaud Lee for doing so.
  5. That is all across the county 17u is 2017 class, 16u is 2018 class, 15u is 2019 class and so on. Every elite team in the nation for 17u has 18 year olds fixing to turn 19 on them.
  6. Yes that is one way and the other way is, if that is their best players then their recruiting is bad and that is why they are no good. Alabama has far more talent in state than Kentucky. Samford just got Justin Coleman from Alabama and that will be an immediate impact.
  7. Sizemore and Riley played together at South Laurel but they both graduated in 2001. They went to the state tournament and lost in the quarterfinals to Male. The state champion team was 2005 with Walt Allen and Ty Proffit.
  8. Living in Bowling Green just what the word is. Austin Peay has offered him, USC Upstate, Troy, and SEMO have been in to see him but not offered. Not everyone puts it out on twitter that they are "blessed" to receive an offer from so and so. Not 100% sure it official because only coaching staff making offer and kid know for sure. On the original list, I see one kid on there who has multiple d1 offers supposedly that know way are a reality, kid isn't a d1 NAIA player.
  9. And will be eligible his senior year because he turns 19 after August 1st. Never understand why people get mad at others for following the rules and being 19 after August 1st of their senior year.
