Have seen and heard of a few who were named to the All Region Team for the 8th, was curious if anyone had a complete list yet?

Playing the big schools and beating the big schools is two different things ,I realize Spencer did beat Anderson, but that is it.

After top 3 as we have said all year I believe the next five can be ranked on a night to night basis. I believe the top 3 are the only teams that can put 3 wins together to get them to Rupp. The other five could knock somebody off, but I don't believe they can get 3.

The Bearcats will have a good chance to win their first game in Frankfort as they will play the 12 Region winner.

I believe both are true, played with the flu.

I agree, Bowling Green seems to low. Replace Oldham with South Oldham.

I will take South Laurel. Is Taylor going to play in college? If so, where?

I wouldn't say Owen scheduled weak to win games. They beat TAYLOR CO., South Laurel, Henry Clay, North Laurel, South Oldham. And then played Trinity, Ballard, Murray. I would consider all of those quality opponents. All games in which Williams dominated.

Interesting that these comments came after the Taylor County TEAM won a state tournament game, and after the Taylor County TEAM ended their season tonight. Seems like the focus should have been on the TEAM.

I enjoy the randomness of it, adds excitement to the tournament. While some regions are tougher than others, everyone got there the same way, they are regional champions. Half of the teams that were consistently in the Top 20 throughout the year are at home, no reason to use seeding at this point. Take the draw you got and go out and win. I know that this topic will be split between the people who support the "favorites" and those who support the "little guys".

Just as someone said, Williams' best games were against the better teams. The smaller schools who they beat by 25+ brought his numbers down because he didn't play 4 quarters of basketball. He and Goodin are both deserving. The argument that his numbers are inflated because of competition though is not a valid one.

South Oldham, then they run back into the 2nd region.

Any idea why the change in the first round game times? Girl's is the same way.
