So I guess I'm that guy, even though I'm an assistant. I really feel bad for being mouthy when it's apparent the opposing coach knew his stuff and our crew did not.

Well you learn something everyday. I always thought if it was bunted on the plate it was foul. What if the ball should hit the plate and somehow stay on the plate? If I'm wrong I'll have to apologize. Any reason the umpire would change his call other than us getting to him? He's done a phenomena job every time we've had him this year, regardless of the outcomes of our games

Our team is 7 and 8 year olds, D1. We have had our coach since first year TBall. LAst year was first year of kid pitch and he played our kids every position unless the kid flat out refused. This year he told them "Im going to ask you where you want to play, but that doesnt necesarilly mean that's where you will play". My son wanted to play catcher but just wasnt cutting it, so our coach switched him to second and he ended making the all-star...

I know its been stated many times, but if they dont come down as hard or harder on their favorites the UNC Tarheels then the NCAA should be dissolved. What happened at UofL was morally horrible (I wish I was good enough to be recruited in that time period) and apparently an NCAA violation. But UNC gave false classes with false grades for decades!!! And their only argument is "Well it was a fake class for all students not just athletes".

We are from what I was told, liable if I take down the street. We got rid of land line three years ago. It's really more of an issue of reaching the branches. If you cut them small enough then it's not an issue, but I can't reach them without a bucket lift

I have a Bartlett(?) Pear in my front yard. Its roughly 2 foot in diameter about 30ft tall. Duke cut back the branches on the electric, Cincy Bell says they dont trim around their wires anymore, even after I said then some blockhead (me) could potentially take down the whole street. curious if anyone in the NKY area could send me someone reliable.

So if the Communist NCAA orders ULs banners down bc it says NCAA champs, can the YUM Center hang banners saying 2013 college basketball champs minus the NCAA on it? Id tell the NCAA to pound salt. The games have been played. Do the players have to get their memories erased and turn in their rings and other awards?

I'm in no way a fan of the Ville, but those games have been played. Unless they are going to make Michigan the National champs, then what's the since of vacating titles? With the internet people can very easily look up who won and or played in the championship game, final four etc. punishment should be doled out by all means but if Im Jurich why can't I say I'm not taking anything down. Could the Yum Center say "To heck with you NCAA. I like the...

Please help. I currently have Cincinnati bell. Called to get my bill lowered today, went from $179 to $152. Interenet is 30Mbps, have only one DVR box with a total of three HD boxes and no home phone and zero movie channels. I really dont watch much other than PBS and a ton of sports. I truly only need cable for UK games, all available college football games, I like NBCsports network. We have HULU and NetFlix and Amazon Prime. I didnt follow...

Currently paying $179 to CincyBell for internet, DVR service that only work on one tv, and three boxes for three tvs. Seems it's certainly not worth it. I've heard plenty about Sling Tv, it can be way cheaper. Obviously I'd need internet access but I don't know all the ins and outs. Anyone have any insight?

Watched the first hour of episode one (kids and early bed time). I thought it was well done. Seeing Jerry West still on the verge of tears and hearing the anguish in his voice proves how rewarding and disheartening sports can be to an individual. Love the old footage. A few questions I have are: 1) Do you think that tying in the Civil Rights with the sports was necessary for this documentary? I thought it was tied in, in a good way. All white...

If!!! I would pay for my parents and in laws to be the most taken care of seniors ever. I'd give my three brothers and two brother in laws 1-2 million, my kids get minimum two. Pay off all my bills. Then maybe I'd start giving Nieces and nephews money, quit my job open my own bar and sleep in every day

I've been to D.C. twice. Both before 1995. I've seen everything except the WWII memorial. I'm not big on the presidents memorials but the war memorials are breath taking, if you appreciate what they stand for. My grandpa was a Chief Petty Officer in the Pacific theater in WWII. I used to cut his grass once a week. I vividly remember watching the dedication of the memorial on tv with him and my grandma. My mom retired from Delta and offered...

I don't believe it was fixed. The Cavs finally got the killer instinct off a bad shooting night for the Warriors. Game one and two the Cavs just played very tentative when the Warriors turned the all over and game three they choked down the stretch. No way the Warriors intentially lost after blowing a three one series last year. Bron Bron and company finally manned up and played hard when it wasn't easy

Also a guy I work with had mentioned, in a holier than though way, his children won't have jobs during high school bc school is their job. I mentioned that they don't go to school during the summer. He seemed quite miffed I brought that up. Unless my kid is going to be a Rhodes Scholar or actually have a shot at a scholarship, they'll have some sort of money making endeavor, especially in the summer

Myself and my twin brother cut a yard that took the two of us 4hrs to cut, starting in 7th grade. Once we reached high school, the deal for myself and three brothers was if we were in sports or other extra curriculars we didn't have to work. I only played football so weekends during the season and nights and weekends during winter conditioning. Obviously nothing over 20hrs was expected.

On the last Durant three, I can see where Bron Bron was not in Durants face. Warriors only down one, why give him an easy and one? Sag a little, I didn't (though maybe we all should) expect a three in that situation. I also cant defend Bron having a killer instinct. Dude can drive and score literally everytime he has the ball. Poor possessions by the Cavs down the stretch, and I totally disagree with Irving shooting a three at the end. Bron...

Reading KSR this morning and there was an excerpt from a newspaper article about a Mark Stoops discussion with Matt Elam. Stoops says pretty much it's up to Matt to do the things he supposed to do. Is this finally the year that Elam lives up to his hype? For me I feel like he's the typical, never had to work very hard, doesn't like challlenges and lacks any self discipline type high school player. From everything I've read, he does what is...

I went to the gym prior to work this morning. Apparently there are two types of step machines. One is a stairclimber and one is a stairmaster. I eagerly hop on the stair climber and struggle to figure out what the heck I'm doing. Finally figure out what to do after a minute and extremely over confidently set the level to 10. Good thing Im still youngish as I almost got sucked under. I appropriately set the level to 7 and attempted to climb the...

So here I am again. I had gotten back diwn to 207lbs from 223lbs in about 3 weeks. I suffered a personal setback two weeks ago yesterday and my weight is up to 215 again. I swear I'm not eating Terrible, drinking beer only on Fridays and Saturdays are for the boys. I couldn't run for a week and last week my motivation was in the negatives. Tomorrow I'm going to attempt for the first time in my 35 years to use the stairmaster. I used to run...
