I've said it before and I'll say it again, if the cities start calling the owners bluffs or just say we have bigger issues to deal with, eventually the owners won't be able to threaten a move. Oakland, like most major cities have way more issues to worry about than paying for an empty billion dollar stadium 350 days out of the year. Miamis owner only voted no bc Vegas is the 40th largest market compared to 4th in Oakland. If I was an...

Unreal. My claim to my own fame is o made 7 out of 10 free throws in memorial coliseum when I took my son to Coach Cals Father/Son basketball camp three years ago. First free throw I had shot in a gym since 1996.

Dare I say Cals lack of in game coaching hurt his team down the sttretch? Hind sight is 20/20,but why not call time out and set your D on the last possession? Or when they go Up 5 and take horrible shots. Call time there and calm them down set up a play designed to get the ball down low

I'll take USC by 8. Eventually they have to cool off, but Gonzaga is way to soft to out rebound my Frank Martins

Anyone not thinking UNC would win is fooling themselves. They were the better team talent wise coming into today. It does blow to lose that way but we are lucky it was that close. Bam was Bam, Fox, and Monk were non existent for 90% of the game. Humpfries kept up Bams end of the deal. I feel the game was officiated way to tight on both sides. When both teams are in a double bonus with 8minutes in the first half There is an issue. UNC earned...

Kansas just couldn't by a bucket. 35% for the game, 20% behind the arc. Selfs record in the elite 8 doesn't do him any favors but not his fault this time

Who cares about LaVar ball. Our Cats kicked butt last night with Bam only scoring two. UNC looked in control the whole time but not unbeatable. Cats played a complete game and Fox showed he should be the talk of the town

Frank Martin is the type of coach ALL programs need. He doesn't mind doing the dirty work at low level programs. I believe if he gets a top program he would do great. Listen to his interview on Dan Patrick yesterday and you'd love him.

Not a cards fan by any means, but to punish players who werent involved to me is wrong. It happens at every college in any sport. Ten years after an incident players and even coaches get the hammer. If the only one left from this situation is Pitino, then Pitino should be the only one punished, not the new recruit who couldnt find Louisville on a map before being recruited. But Alas, the NCAA usually doesnt rule with common sense.

Its early so bear with me. But the ending of both the Michigan Vs Oregon and WVU vs Gonzaga games had absolutely horrendous possessions. Michigan down one with 9 seconds and they dont even try to drive? Yes Oregon had two fouls to give, so drive and try to get fouled while shooting. Or get fouled, and come up with a play quickly. Instead they waste time and take the longest shot possible. I know West Virginia had multiple three point...

Happy for X and my few friends who are die hard fans. But what is Arizona doing? What is Sean Miller doing? They couldnt buy a three all night, youre down two with plenty of time. Drive to the hoop. If Xavier can learn how to rebound on defense I believe they will be in the final four.

What makes is sacred though? It's sacred to some and much ado about nothing to a lot of others. It's up to tre individual on what makes it sacred. The Quran is sacred to Muslims but certainly not the Jews or Christians

I guess I should ask, how are other religions masses (or whatever they'd be called) done? Are they as repetitive as Catholic masses or are they different every single time you go? I have no idea

That's more to what I meant to say to an extent. But even the specia holiday masses are all the same, yes they are different than your average Sunday mass but it still has the same basics. I didn't go to church besides funerals and weddings for almost five years and it felt like I never missed a week the first time back. Stand, sit, stand, sit, stand, kneel, stand, kneel, stand. To each their own. I went to a mass in Oahu when I was nine years...

As a catholic who has willingly stopped attending mass, i hear nothing but good things about non-denominational churches. We had to attend mass twice a week for school and once on the weekend for eight years, then just weekends until I moved out. Every catholic mass is EXACTLY the same minus the sermon. The pageantry and the way the priests holds the book up like its the greatest thing on earth just isn't for me. That said, to each his own....

So a quick question. I have never eaten as healthy in my life as I am doing right now. Eating whole foods and keeping my calories around 1200-1300 daily. I'm excercising minimum 5 days a week. Distance running two of those. Back two years ago I was 184 (217 currently) at my best. I didn't eat bad or perfect but kept my calorie count at around1600 give or take. I started taking an anti anxiety medicine around the first of the year, and while...

From the video i saw and not knowing the rules of basketball I can see where it was called a block. I could also see it the other way around. Now if what was posted is the official rule, I'd have to say it was a charge just based off of a video shot from the opposite baseline. Would love to see a shot from that baseline

Your down one and you don't even work for a two point try. Quite obvious they wanted to settle for a three, contested or not. Last 10 minutes they wasted at least 6 trips jacking up threes from 5 feet behind the line instead of driving.

I also believe that Christianity isnt the only way. I believe for myself anyway, being raised Catholic i subconsciously try to do right to avoid hell in the after life. The older ive gotten, being around numerous people of other faiths and Atheists as well, has opened my mind to how others live. My next door neighbor is an Atheist and is the nicest guy i know. For me, and again I bring up my Catholic upbringing, i cant imagine not believing...

I agree. its just mind boggling to me how high the number was. Just think there are persons in this world who dint even know what three major religions are, let alone the apparently thousands of other types/sects. To me religion is just a way most of can rationalize with the unknown and feel better about death.
