Was a good game to watch as a bball fan as far as closeness, Other than that was a sloppy game. Congrats to Newport for going forward with the win.

Get a a good cpa, that's the best I can tell you. You may need a tax attorney, but i would try the CPA first. I have been thru this before, it sucks. I still fight with Campbell county every year. They send me a tax bill for " estimated taxes for earnings in Campbell county" every year along with the penalties, and interest. I haven't done any business in Campbell county since 2013. Lol

Another case of media not telling the whole or correct story. Happens every day. Thats why you don't believe anything you hear in the media when it first comes out.

And this has what to do with my response to 23 fan? But you do make valid points. I'll go one step further and say this: just because you coach AAU or HIGH SCHOOL bball doesn't mean your a good coach. I've said it for a while now- half the AAU coaches are horrible. And half the school coaches are horrible also. My sons AAU coach telling him after a game that he; didn't run as fast as he could have in transition, shot flat, didn't box out...

Who are you talking to? I responded to your post about the crowd being pathetic and your idea that us parents are sitting at home making excuses and that we should be telling them to look in the mirror and figure it out. All I can do is try and make my son a better player and try and get him to play like most know he can.

So the whole Holy Cross crowd is pathetic? You need a reality check. I was sitting with a group of parents (including myself) and we may not be crazy loud or obnoxious but we cheer our team on. Guy next to me was sending out updates of the game on his phone. And my son gets critiqued by me, his AAU coach and sometimes another coach after every game. He knows what he needs to do. He also is smart enough to see what's wrong.

As a fan of the original version of " Tennessee Whiskey", I think Chris Stapleton does a great job with his version, changing it enough from the origional version to make it sound like a different song. Most of today's county music fans don't even realize that Stapleton's version is not the original. That being said, this guy Changes it just a little more to make it sound even more like a " pop song" instead of a country song. Don't like it at...

I say this every time a person or group commits an act of terrorism; IF SOMEONE WANTS TO KILL SOMEONE OR GROUP OF PEOPLE, THEY WILL DO IT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER AND LAWS WON'T STOP IT FROM HAPPENING! The only thing that can stop it is if someone finds out their plan and stops it in advance. In this case, if he did not have ammo with him, he could have went few minutes down the road purchased ammo , came back thru an UNSECURED area of the airport...

While Holmes did cause HC to turn the ball over sometime, a lot of HC turnovers were unforced, especially in the first quarter, which led to Holmes getting points off turnovers in transition. Holmes also had some unforced turnovers as well.

I would have to disagree on that totally. Not saying they would have won, but they have definitely faced better competition and prevailed. Of course there were other players as well. One thing is for sure, they couldn't be successful trying to run the offense that HC does..

They have multiple " decent seniors'' as you would call them. If you put them all on the floor at the same time you might see this.

HC could be a very well balanced scoring team. Many players have the ability to score. How the offense is ran is what limits the scoring options.

Ahead of its time in my opinion. Not enough population to sustain such a place. With Lexington having the same stores, and florence having allot of the same things, who needed to go to dry ridge other than people that were close? And those " outlet stores'' aren't any cheaper than the same version any where else most of the time. I do expect the place in question to make a comeback soon.

Grant should have been wet long ago. As others have said, last time a lot of those drinkers didn't vote. Their own fault on that one. I know 15 people that live in grant county and they all drink alcohol. And they have for the last 20 + years. They just purchased their drink in another county. Living in a dry county never stopped them from drinking. So Grant was just missing out on the tax dollars in my opinion

Had someone got hurt I could see higher charge ( felony?) But those of you who say it doesn't matter that no one got hurt, remember that next time you read about a auto accident and the charges that come from it off any.

I agree, that's why I asked the question about them being charged had one been pushing the other in a shopping cart. The bike had brakes, shopping cart no. But I would bet their would have been no charges or probably not even police involved had it been a shopping cart instead of the bike.

Charged with wanton endangerment. That charge is so broad it can about cover anything you do if another person is in close proximity. Lol Does anyone think they would have been charged had one brother been pushing the other one at running speed in a shopping cart?
