  1. Friday's game will definitely be a defensive battle. In this years regular season game, CAL was without their senior safety, who currently has D1 football offer on the table. He is the same player who broke his leg on the opening kickoff in last year's playoff game versus DeSales, but stayed in the game. In my opinion, if he would have been 100% in that game, Johnson would not have scored DeSales TD. If you watch the film he was hobbling trying to catch Johnson and still almost caught him before the end zone. Good news for CAL, he is back in the lineup and ready for Friday. With him in the lineup, CAL's defense will be much improved compared to this years regular season game.
  2. Especially when u only have 40 players total and almost 1/2 are freshman. CAL has 9 seniors on the team and most starters play both ways. It's really amazing what CAL has accomplished this year with as few players as they have and playing several freshmen.
  3. Agree with your opinion on Davis and Lewellyn being football players but not sure how 6'3" 200 (Davis) is not a head-turner from a physical presence. I hope both teams don't look past round 2. I can't wait for the rematch part IV.
