  1. I don't know their ages but McKee at Scott County and Chirico at Paintsville have done some amazing things.
  2. He will be a sophomore next year. He was a QB all through elementary and middle school. He was Kash's backup last year.
  3. Ryan Moore center Paintsville Scotty Sexton DT Paintsville Darrin Morris RB/LB Paintsville Silas Stambaugh DB Paintsville Dalton Daniels FB/DB Paintsville Joao Dos Santos K Paintsville
  4. "IF" If, ifs ands & buts were candy and nuts. We would all have a merry Christmas.
  5. Kash's father didn't think it was in his best interest to play on a losing team with 18 players on the squad. It was before Chirico was hired.
  6. When Kash came back from Pikeville, Coach Chirico and Kinner were not going to let Kash back on the team. The seniors convinced the coaches to let the players decide who would be let on the team. The players voted to let Kash back on the team but the coaches said he would have to earn his spot on the starting rotation.
  7. I played high school ball with Daric's father Darrell. He was a bruising fullback at Paintsville when he played.
  8. I tried to tell you guys these E Kentucky 1A teams were good.
  9. I would say Kash wanted to play. The timing of the decision and whomever made it is what the problem that people have. I think if Kash felt like he could have played on Friday it would have taken more than two people to keep him from playing. Early in the week I bet he thought he would heal up by Friday as he had all year long. It just didn't happen for him. The young man is a warrior. He played with a broken throwing hand all season. I hate it for him. Just like everyone else in the cruel world I think he may have learned several life lessons. In the end that's all we have.
  10. I love how a few Johnson Central people are already jumping on a bandwagon to put down Paintsville Independent Schools because of the actions of a few. It just shows how petty some of you are. I'm cheering for Johnson Central to win the 4A championship. The question is would you have been cheering for the Paintsville Tigers if they had made it? I think it would be awesome if both schools could continue to be relevant in all sports and academic endeavors. Kash and his family have made the decision to do what was best for him. I'm fine with that but with all decisions that effects others not everyone is going to be happy. The other players on the team including my son felt let down that Kash didn't play because he told them all week he would play Friday. I told my son that was no reason to be mad at Kash and it isn't.
  11. I have contacts with the UK coaching staff. No one from UK was at the game and did not influence anyone playing. Last contact from Stoops was after the Paris game. They were too busy with their own game. I've talked to the Paintsville coaching staff and the ones I talked to said nothing about UK reps being at the game. The doctor who advised Kash's father once worked for UK as an orthopedic surgeon.
