  1. What makes you include Johnson Central in this list and not include Franklin-Simpson? Johnson Central has been to 4 straight Championship games compared to FS’s 3 but FS lost to the same South Warren team that beat Johnson Central in 2015. FS just played them earlier in the playoffs. And FS has beaten JC 2 out of 3 times now.
  2. Franklin-Simpson OL 6’-4” 285 6’-3” 288 5’-10” 255 6’-3” 240 6’-3” 270 According to MaxPreps Roster
  3. If the KHSAA moved the game to Cov Cath and a player from PC tore an ACL, would the KHSAA be responsible?
  4. What is Moore’s strengths? I know JJ Weaver is a big one but what kind of offense do they run?
  5. Wow...that’s a 35 point spread. I think FS will do a little better than that. If I was unbiased, I’d pick SW by 21.
  6. I’m pretty sure FS can’t beat the SW defense with just their running game even though the running game has been impressive thus far. Is the FS passing game ready to step up and make a statement? I think so. I’ll take FS 24-21.
  7. Actually FS had 3 fumbles and an interception and I don’t think they ever punted. They have to clean up the turnovers but the running game was impressive
  8. I don't think there is a him yet at QB. I hear there is a good 2 man race between a Sophomore that played a few snaps last year and runs the offense really well and a Freshman who has the look and feel of a good HS QB and has proven himself well at other levels but has not played at the HS Varsity level yet. I expect tonight's scrimmage will split reps between the two. Maybe one will start to emerge as the favorite. I think both of them are very capable since FS will probably rely heavily on the running game early in the season but there will certainly come a time when we will need one of them to lead us in the passing game.
  9. Logan County may have gotten overlooked some last year and I’m sure that won’t happen this time around. But with what they have returning and Adler on their side, I pick them over Hoptown and Madville
  10. Logan County has to be in the mix in Region 1. They had a great season and I’m pretty sure they have most players coming back.
  11. I wanna give some love to the FS OLine. With so many different backs running for 100+ per game there must be some running lanes somewhere. I thought the FS OL took over in the second half. The 4th quarter drive to go up 2 scores was a thing of beauty! Congrats to Hoptown on a great game and a classy game on the field. They really came together the second half of their season and finished very strong
  12. Hoptown must have thrown the ball well against Logan Co. I think it will be a great matchup with the Tigers air attack against the ground and pound FS running game.
