  1. After watching 6A McCracken County get drilled by crosstown rival 3A Paducah Tilghman this season will have few bright spots. McCracken County in my opinion could very well end up going 2-8 this season. They have a tough schedule ahead of them & will be 0-6 before they can even fathom a win. Not taking anything away from PT but McCracken made them look better than they actually are. I see them going 6-4. All they have are athletes & that alone makes them competitive against some less than par teams.
  2. As always I'm picking the Stangs to win. May not happen just like against BG. Then again no one really expected McCracken to win that game. The 3 teams McCracken has lost to this season are a combined 28-1. So the losses aren't anything to be ashamed of. I expect the PRP to be a tough first round game if not the most equal 1/4 match-up in the state. All of the Super-District can play we with anyone in the state. Hard fought game by both but I'll take McCracken 35-27.
  3. With much respect to BG, you can't compare BG's schedule to Pulaski Academy's schedule. Look at who they've played. They travel all over the nation. Utah, Oklahoma, etc. Yes they lost to a Utah team but if I'm not mistaken they're ranked nationally as well. BG is good probably the best in the state IMO. I don't see them being anywhere close to the likes of Pulaski Academy though. Regardless of their respective rankings.I chose McCracken to win. It's more of a wish than a pick.

  5. I picked McCracken because they're my team. I've been watching them since consolidation. I'd pick them no matter who they played. Sure BG is the better team & I have much respect for BG . They're the class of football in Western Kentucky. Along with Mayfield. So when you lose as hard as it is losing to classy programs like Mayfield & BG is not a bad thing. Just playing them makes you better. I don't think BG is anything like Pulaski Academy so I don't think it'll be a running clock, but I'm sure BG is at least a 25 point favorite.

  8. My bad.. Both have "Committed" to play @ SEMO. It was on local news that he had signed to play for SEMO. This was before the season had even started. Daniel is going to Memphis to play.
  9. Actually he & his receiver Woods have signed with SEMO.
  10. You have to throw Cash Jones from McCracken in the mix. Only 2 games this season has he played in the 2nd half & has 26 TD passes. Given that it has been against some sub-par teams but 26 TD's in 7 games with limited time played is pretty good. He's already signed to play at SEMO.
  11. Now that McCracken is getting players back from injury they'll be looking for a running clock in hopes of getting their starters out as soon as possible to avoid further injuries in the back stretch of the regular season. Even on all cylinders it won't be a cake walk for McCracken. Henderson has the athletes to play with McCracken but I believe McCracken has a few more. If Jackson let's up on the gas after he gets a comfortable lead it might not look so bad for Henderson. This district overall is a joke for a 6A district. Which puts McCracken in a lack luster mode. Luckily in the final week they host Bowling Green to wake them up. McCracken wins big @ Henderson 49-14

  13. Back in the day you had to win the district to make the playoffs. When I played it was the district winner & runner-up. (85-88) for me. We played an 11 game season with four rounds of playoffs. It seemed to work well then.
