  1. DeSales will be tough, no doubt. Seems like Doss is always a scary team imho they should be 2. Butler at 3? Do they have some transfers or something?
  2. Desales beat South Oldham 63-50 @ Spencer Co. Today.
  3. Manual and DeSales play at DeSales Fri. 1PM
  4. I'm going to have to disagree. James and Joseph Sims were both under 6 foot and were post players... That's not going to work Varsity wise. Chad Welsh could maybe be a contributor but not a big one in my opinion.
  5. John Floyd is the only varsity contributor that has chosen football. The other kids that aren't playing this year would have been playing JV as juniors.
  6. A few football players are not playing basketball this year. They would not have been key contributors to the VARSITY basketball team. Simply just focusing on football because they think they have a better chance of doing something with it more than basketball.
  7. Desales guard play will be really strong. They will be a very good shooting team from behind the arc. Austin Wise will lead Butler. Where is PRP????? There is no way they don't make this list. Also, who does Southern have that makes them #6? I don't see them being that good.
  8. They will be young but full of talent if they can get everyone on the same page. They only have one player that played real varsity minutes returning in a junior, Jaxon Burgess. He can get his shot off very quick and create his own. He had some big varsity games last year and should be the main offensive reliance. They have two big men that could be real good. One 6'6 the other 6'7. Also, have a 6'4 transfer from brown named DeShawn Bell that can jump out of the gym and play the 4. Point guard is questionable as a 5'10 junior Austin Black had a big summer leading the colts through the summer in scoring. Senior Cameron LaFever should be a spark, also whether he starts at point or not. Carey Grant is a 6'3-6'4 SF that could make some noise this year if he gets bigger and improves his dribbling skills more. Overall, if they could come together, which I think they will look at who's coaching them, they should be a sleeper in the 6th region by tournament time.
