  1. I agree, some people have cut Nicholas County down every chance they get. I am from Hazard, and am friends with their coaches. Brosseit is definitely not Hazard. You never know what is going to happen till you kick off.
  2. The O-Line for Nicholas played as good as I've seen all year long....and for that matter ever!! I just wanna give some love to LINE. They controlled the line of scrimmage, I was impressed!! Great job men!
  3. Well Raceland beat West by 15....and gave up 13 points. I wouldn't normally talk about officiating but West was given a catch when it was clearly a drop....then a questionable pass interference call in the end zone set them up for the touch down. West Carter is a good 3A team. Athletic, we'll coached, and everyone was thinking it would be Nicholas County's first loss. I can't speak for Paintsville and Pikeville, but NC could probably be competitive with Raceland. Thing is you'll never know till you strap them up and kick it off!! I am excited about how this team is playing. I saw more excitement than I've seen all year! Great job Kids and Coaches!!
  4. Yes they were huge but Nicholas has quite a bit of size as well!
  5. #34 had a great start to his 10th grade year! Looking good out there NEACE!
  6. This defensive unit was different that the one that played last week, I'll give it to the Bethlehem they are a good team. But that D tonight was lock down. Aside from one long pass play late in the game Nicholas could do not wrong. The big boys played much, much better. Coach Hopkins and the boys in blue need to sure up the offence, but it was an impressive win on the road tonight. Way to step up tonight guys!
  7. Can we talk about a position that doesn't get much love? Who are the best Lineman in Class A football?
