  1. Personal foul called on the tigers on the last E-town drive was a KILLER for Caldwell when it looked like Caldwell had them stopped. Boy boy boy.....
  2. I realize Etown hasn't lost a game and is rated higher, in some poles and threads. Anything can happen from this point on but it should be a close game--too close to call. As for earlier statements about Etown blowing out Caldwell--that will not happen. Just ask Mayfield's coach how easy it is to win at Caldwell. They got out by the skin of their teeth. Watch out for the big double "D" I have a feeling the Caldwell coaches will have the Tiger "D" ready to play and don't forget the other "D"... Hope it's a good FAIRLY called game and no one gets hurt. The team that wins just might go on to win the title.
  3. Caldwell wins this one by at least one touchdown after a slow start.
  4. E-town will have rough go with PT. PT is healthy and Hungry!
  5. Great emotions on both sides and Mayfield won the game so let's move on to the playoffs. Go Tigers!!!!
  6. I can rap this one up. I watched the game again on Utube and originally I thought the officiating was bad and after watching again I conclude-- the officiating was VERY bad. I know there are good calls and bad calls in every game but the bad calls Caldwell got were in very critical parts of the game where they could have blown open the game or iced the game. Go straight to the end of the Utube video for after game comments by a seasoned football official and he was even astounded as well by the calls the refs made. Also he's not the type to complain about officiating as he was one himself. But my final conclusion is the officials were NOT totally responsibly for the Caldwell loss. It was a combination of very good play calling down the stretch by the Mayfield coach and players and VERY poor clock management by the Caldwell coaches on their last drive. Last but not least all the free calls Mayfield got to help them down field and the refs not starting the clock after their final big play as they waited for the Mayfield team to get set to spike the ball. The time should have started and the time would have expired before they got the play off to spike the ball. Good luck to both teams in the play-offs as I think they both can make deep runs if the stay healthy. Great emotion on both sides
  7. Lol......lol...seriously? Dude you didn't watch the same game we watched. Mayfield is a GREAT team and I hope they go far but they got PLENTY of help from the white hats tonight! Watch the replay. And I'm still betting money ref is from Mayfield. Good luck to both teams!
  8. Boy what a fun game to watch. Both teams should make deep runs. The score may not have showed it but Caldwell won this game. I agree with "Dream" the refs pretty much gave the game to Mayfield all night. Several VERY bad calls against Caldwell!!!!!!! A Touchdown called back on a fantom call. I could go on and on... And not to mention the time had ran out before Mayfield spiked the ball to kick the field goal. They had no time-outs, but the refs put 2 seconds back on the clock and let's them kick a field goal. I don't know for sure but I would bet money the ref that was making all the bad calls was from Mayfield. It's sad when the refs control a game like this.
  9. I hate to say it but until proven wrong Mayfield has the edge in this one. They dominated last year and have the best coaching staff in WK. They will make the necessary adjustments in the game to win. Players aside, Joe Morris is hard to out coach. Mayfield 42 Caldwell 24
  10. It's going to be interesting watching this class play out. Any one of 4 or 5 teams could take it depending on some luck and keeping players healthy.
  11. Yes I believe there is a decent chance for someone outside the big three to win the state. Caldwell is a very dangerous team! 1) They are under rated and if they win their distric they will play at home until they loose or they make it to the state championship. 2) They have played about as tough of a schedule you could play for a 3A team. 3) They are HUNGRY. They exited the state tournament prematurely the last two years. I believe the coaches will have them ready this year. 4) Their defense is really good and getting better as the year goes on. 5) They have a big fan base following and that in itself is a big plus. They will go far if not win the state 3A tournament.
  12. Sorry man maybe choking wasn't the right word. They probably do be Murray if Sindelar doesn't go down. I do think they are a better team this year because their schedule is tougher and they have many options at the skilled positions. PLUS--they are HUNGRY! Just don't look past Tilman or anyone just yet. I'm rooting for them all the way!
