Does anyone know who the Mr Soccer candidates are? If I was a voter I would go with Mabika, Day, Clemente, Fischer -

"CCH wins this easy. Cooper's defense is very shaky and CCH's back line is too good for Snow to beat all 4 of them. Unless Snow gets one off from distance or a set piece Cov Cath gets a shutout win 3-0." Where's my offer from ESPN? -

I believe its Dodgeball, LOL. But back to the actual topic, CCH wins this easy.bCooper's defense is very shaky and CCH's back line is too good for Snow to beat all 4 of them. Unless Snow gets one off from distance or a set piece Cov Cath gets a shutout win 3-0. -
#3 Henry Clay vs #8 Madison Central Thursday night for a chance to play in the 11th Region championship, Henry Clay beat Lexington Catholic tonight 4-0 and Madison Central beat Franklin County 3-0. Dunbar and Woodford both have easy first round games and should meet in the other regional semi. Predictions for individual games and for who you think will win the region?

Could you imagine a region tournament without Dunbar in it? I'd like to know the last time (if ever) thats happened. -
Clementé did not play and Roberts went out with an injury early in the 2nd half.

What's the best goal you've seen this year?

Gilio Aviles bicycle kick vs South Warren -
Oldham County makes the jump to #3 after beating DuPont Manual 7-2. Rankings are finally starting to remain the same heading into post season. Any thoughts? 1. Bowling Green 2 Henry Clay 3 Oldham County 4 Trinity (Louisville) 5 St. Xavier 6 Daviess County 7 Covington Catholic 8 Madison Central 9 Tates Creek 10 Montgomery County 11 South Oldham 12 Kentucky Country Day 13 Ballard 14 Manual 15 Woodford County 16 South Warren 17 Lafayette 18 Paul Laurence Dunbar 19 Mercer County 20 Hopkinsville

Dunbar got out to an early lead off a header from Norris. Woodford tied up in the 60th minute of a beautiful header and after a PK call 5 minutes later Woodford County took the 2-1 lead and held on for a great win for their program.

Would love to see this team play a top Region 11, 7, or 9 team and get a taste of their own medicine. -
9/20/15 Maher Rankings
SoccerFan8 replied to Oldtimebaseball84's topic in KY Boys Soccer (High School)
Since OTB left just one important thing out of his post, the actual rankings, here they are. Bowling Green retakes the top spot after Trinity played two weaker teams this week. Dunbar drops to 10th after losing to Lexington Catholic. Ryle moves into the top 20 after tying Cov Cath. Madison Central makes a jump to #11 after beating West Jessamine, Cooper, Boyle County, and Woodford County this week. Any thoughts? What would your top 5-10 be? 1 Bowling Green 2 Trinity (Louisville) 3 Henry Clay 4 St. Xavier 5 Covington Catholic 6 Oldham County 7 Daviess County 8 South Oldham 9 DuPont Manual 10 Paul Laurence Dunbar 11 Madison Central 12 Woodford County 13 Kentucky Country Day 14 Montgomery County 15 Tates Creek 16 Bishop Brossart 17 Hopkinsville 18 Ryle 19 Louisville Collegiate 20 South Warren -
Lafayette scored a goal that hit the cross bar and bounced on the line and the play went on for a few seconds and the assistant ref called it a goal. South Oldham was their 2nd game of the day after playing Henderson County and a day after playing Bowling Green so fatigue may have played a part in that.

Most complete team to me seems to be Dunbar or Bowling Green. With Clementé on the field it is hard to say any team is better than Dunbar. Very solid keeper, a strong backline with Grabmeyer in the center, midfield plays well together with Roberts and Delgado out wide, and maybe the top forward in Ricky Clementé. Unless Ricky goes down (fingers crossed he does not) I do not see anyone beating Dunbar. I give Dunbar the edge over Bowling Green and Henry Clay just for the fact Bowling Green's back line is good not great and Henry Clay does not have a true go to goal scorer like they did with Ueland last year. Post season should be very exciting.
