I would say there are over 30 parents on NCC's sideline. There were 2 parents ejected. One of the ejections was completely bogus and should have never happened. As for the other parent ejected, it is no surprise that his child probably leads the team in cards. I believe the saying goes, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Also, the only people talking about NCC's past is BGP. The current coaching staff as well as the parents that I have spoken to are looking at the present and future. In fact, the current coaching staff is working tirelessly to build more of a soccer program (such as having more triple headers so all 3 teams play on the same day and can support one another, as well as hosting senior day with both the boys and girls team). This is about building a program for the future, and as far as I can tell, no one that matters within the program is hung up about the past.

NCC won district final

It is always Columbus Day weekend. Which appears to be October 9-12 this year.

Just an FYI, it is likely that games may start later than scheduled due to the heat index.

I believe that my point was that it wasn't the entire fan base. I never once condoned or defended the poor behavior.

Z89, it was only one kid holding his arms up and complaining about calls. Also, it was only one adult complaining about the calls the ENTIRE game (there was another one that made a few nasty comments, but he didn't continue throughout the entire game). One of the "loud mouths" was in front of me and one was behind me and I know exactly who they are. Don't make blanket statements about an entire team and an entire parent section based on a few. I have never been to a soccer game with perfect fans, so let's not start trying to make one school look bad based an a very small percentage of people.

Wayoffsides, IMO the offsides call getting overturned was the right call. The kid who scored was not offsides, the flag went up on a different player that never got involved in the play. Other than that I think your summary is pretty right on. I would add to it that NCC's defense was the worst I have seem them this year. They definitely had an off game defensively. I also think the coach expected too much from his players by not subbing them out and getting fresh legs and letting them hydrate. It tells me that NCC's deep bench is just for show.

I personally know 3 families that sent their children to CCH/NDA because they are traditionalist that wanted their children to go to an all boys/all girls school the same as they did when it was NC and OLP. There are a lot of reasons people pick the school they pick.

Double Yellow does not represent NCC. He/she is disgracing a great program with great people. Please do not judge all of us by their arrogant commentary.
