  1. Spencer comes up a few point short. Maybe they shouldn't have run up the score so much during the season. Karma always comes back to bite you.
  2. I think this will be the closest game in the first round but I don't see why everyone is so overwhelmingly in favor of Garrard in all the other post. Some have conversation about Garrard and Lex. Cath. already.
  3. I remember it being the point system for the three teams once one was decided to have second then it went back to head to head for 3/4 seed. I guess I could have been wrong.
  4. In a three way tie you look at the head to head situation first and since all three have beaten each other the next criteria is a point system. You take the non district wins you team has and add their wins up as points. Example Henry's teams they have beaten, their amount of wins on the season. This will put Henry in second. Then after that you have two teams and the criteria is head to head which puts Bardstown in third.
  5. I think Shelby wins. North looks to miss the playoffs for the first time in some time and maybe ever.
  6. If Henry upsets Central, big if, they will host Western Hills. Western Hills program has been down for some time. If they finish second they host Garrard. Garrard is tough but not a the power they were in the 90's when Coach Perry was there before. Second round will be Boyle, no chance of winning, or Lex. Cath., some chance but they will be a underdog. I say this, but I have only watched them against Lincoln and the rest I have followed there scores from KHSAA.
  7. They are better than the 3 and 4 seed in the other district. Lex. Cath. doesn't look to be the Lex. Cath. of the past although saying that they are a very good team. I don't see anybody beating Boyle.
  8. Central wins this one with a running clock.
  9. I would agree they have been in every game except their last one, a loss to Henry by 28. I think the fact that they don't play fluff games to start the season and they play good teams pre district says a lot. Sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way in close games.
  10. The NCKC has been around for years. All of the teams mentioned are in the conference in some sort of capacity. Henry is having a good football season and deserves the credit they have earned. I do believe to take the next step they need to schedule some tougher non district games. All of you all that are complaining every week about scores being so lopsided, remember those statements when Gallitan is beating everybody by 20+ in basketball.
  11. I still believe the schedule gets you ready for tough games down the road and Henry's schedule has hurt them when they played there only tough games, WH and NO. Don't the head coach set the schedule? If so shouldn't he have a few challenging games prior to the district? Didn't Henry use to play a very tough schedule years ago?
  12. If you check the sheduling from years past you will see that Eminence will play someone until they get beat by the team then drop them. I can't understand why they would drop Henry County due to the gate and concession money they make from that game. I think it benefits there whole community when they play each other.
  13. This will be a close game. Henry 21 Western Hills 14.
  14. I heard this will be there last meeting. My sources from Eminence says that Coaach Fro. told them that Henry will not schedule Eminence because they are 3A and want to scheduel 3A or bigger schools. True or Coach Fro. getting away from another school that consistantly beats them?
  15. I am not bashing Coach Martin. He was an assistant at some good Lou. Wagg. teams. He was middle school coach at North Oldham middle. His first head coaching job was at Henry and he really did not have any success until he brought in some real good assistant coaches. He is doing the same at North Oldham. I do agree that the best head coaches have great assistant coaches but on his own he has proven to not be real effective.
