  1. Ally Collett from South Laurel was also out this weekend. Impressive for South to win this without her. She has several D1 offers. Morgan really stepped up and played well.
  2. Ramey , Anders and Madden all had 16 for South with Cromer adding 10. Gray from North led all scorers with 30 with Oster adding 13. Free throw woes for South kept this game within striking range for North as South missed 12. Also as is with most bigger games inside the 13th region, This game become a foul fest in the second half after a minimal whistle the first half. Too many times this becomes the normal way in this region. If I heard right , there were 37-38 fouls called in the second half and less than 10 the first half.
  3. Final from South Laurel. South improves to 16-5 North drops to 19-4 with 2 of the 4 losses to crosstown rival South Laurel.
  4. Thought Somerset would win this one.....Mayfield must have played well. Then had just enough to hang on at the end.
  5. Rice played several mins against South Laurel tuesday night as well.
  6. Andrew Taylor refused to let Corbin lose this game. He took over in the second half and finished with 39 pts. Knox was in control for most of the 1st half, but really cooled off from the outside in the second half, along with several missed free throws. Was a very good and heated battle between 2 of the top 5 teams in the region.
  7. 85-43 I think. Cant remember for sure but if thats wrong score its pretty close.
  8. Easily running clock. Does setup a nice finals between Knox and Corbin
  9. The history may be good but the present Freedom team was sporting a 1-12 record rolling into corbin. The Falls tourney has had many outstanding teams in the past and been one of the best holiday tourneys in southeastern ky. This year, not so much. Hopefully they will look to bring in much stronger competition next year.
  10. Yes, Fleming looked like they are way down. Barbourville had pretty easy time with them. The score was re-set at halftime of all the games. Rowan Co was scrappy and never quit playing hard. Woods and Antrobus looked good for Rowan. South Laurel won the scrimmage vs Rowan 73-54 if both halves were combined. Grubb looked great for South along with Ramey and Anders.
  11. Impressive win for Mercer Co. Going into one of the toughest places in the state and getting a 10 point win tells you how good this team is.
  12. Caleb Taylor Blake Smith Carson Williams Quentin Goodin Trevon Faulkner
