  1. And just so you know, I have to pay city and county taxes as well as every other citizens in Middlesboro. We paid just as much for that new turf as anyone. Do not ever put Middlesboro's facilities down again. You are given considerable amounts of aid that Middlesboro does not get. You are a much larger school with a much larger financial need considering how poor the county is.
  2. It was 20 min halves. Middlesboro with all they have taken from Bell with entertaining our players and losing one to Bell, will be ready to play. Middlesboro has a lot more speed, Woolum kid has gained a lot of weight, Humfleet can't run the ball every play, Middlesboro in a close one.
  3. There is absolutely no reason to count Middlesboro out. Young, yes. Inexperienced, no. You are from Bell County, you do not get a say so as far as Middlesboro is concerned. Your only thought is to crush them on Log Mountain. We have exceptional speed, that gives us a little cush as far as the line. We also have a great coaching staff with impeccable experience. The 2015 Middlesboro Yellow Jackets will play as a team, not as individuals. Look what it cost them last year. I want you and Pineville out of the way so that we can enjoy football without all the smack talk. I live in Bell County and when it is all said and done, I would not cheer for BCHS if you played on the White House lawn. You worry about teams like Corbin and HCHS. We are a 2A school with a very tough schedule. I have no idea what grade your best players are in, but am quite sure they should be playing on the college level by now. Really, I do not know who you have that is all that great. QB, maybe????
  4. Do you mean "Catch Humfleet" if we can. You got it!!! Consider him caught...
  5. Middlesboro has a lunch program daily. It is served at the Community Center and is provided by Bell-Whitley. The middle school is serving lunch and breakfast, but I think that will end this week. As far as our football program, the boys are fed before every game. Away games, depending on the distance, they are fed before and after the game. We have the Veteran's Bowl, where veterans, and both teams are fed. This is provided by our boosters.
  6. See Bobcat, not all that it seems, right? I will take Middlesboro speed over the bobcats this year. Catch us if you can.
  7. I assure you my panties are not in a wad. You read my post , so you know what I said. Bell and Pineville trash Middlesboro all the time. You never see me bashing kids and schools, might not like how you handle your business, but something far greater than me takes care of that stuff a lot better than I do. Yes, I know what you are predicting, your players have been taught well on how to use social media to make threats. Log Mountain is a very intimidating place to play, but no worse that Bradner. I will say my son never gets on social media and runs his mouth. Never let your right hand know what your left hand is doing. As far as not being good for Middlesboro, what is not going to be good for you. Don't assure me of anything. Win or lose, my son goes on to play at the next level. You're not a conference game, so you don't matter. Just a rival that goes back a long way. We still play you, we have never dropped you and I resent you taking something very self explanatory and turning it in to this. Do I respect your coaches, no. Do I respect your kids, yes. They are just kids that love the game the same as mine. I want to play ball, I want both teams praying with their players. Don't pray to win, pray for the safety and a fairly called game. But, I will be right there to watch the two who made their threats against mine. Going out on a stretcher, that is bad business and you don't want a war you can't win. So, lets play the game, let's play clean. I've walked off that mountain with a loss before, this is not my first rodeo with you. We lose, we lose...you lose, it hits you a lot worse. Get you and Pineville out of the way and we can play ball without all the hate and threats. I enjoy the game, losing or winning with you does not personally effect me in any way. I don't pay attention to the jaw jacking, but when you threaten mine, it is personal. You are technically not our first game. But will be glad to get the arrogance and hate out of the way. Do not take this post personally...see ya, Bobcat.
  8. I think my post pretty much says it Bobcat. See you August 21, 2015 on the mountain. As far as Middlesboro's problems, I spoke out of turn, it is not our problem, it is the problem of other teams contacting our players. Take that back to the mountain Bobcat.
  9. Want my son to play for a military academy. He has often pointed out that he wanted to go into the Navy. Been looking at military academies that offer athletic programs. The US Naval Academy if by far the best. Not saying my son is at this talent level, but could still get a great education. Take into the service of his country or the private sector. I do believe he has the capability to play. I am sending to IMG Academy next week and looking forward to what prevails. I agree with InItToWinIt, that playing on any level after high school is a great accomplishment.
  10. The first thing I would suggest for Pineville is to concentrate on the game of football and quit putting so much time in to trashing Middlesboro. They have a lot of teams to worry about the same as we do. Concentrate on one game at a time, learn from it and use your efforts to go forth. Middlesboro has a lot of problems, Pineville is not one of them. So chill out, stay off of social media and play the game. When you continually attack any team, you are just giving them more incentive to win. Pineville has the potential to be very successful. Good luck in your endeavors and I will see you at Bradner Stadium, 09/04/2015!:walk:
  11. Loving sports in Southeastern Kentucky. I have two sons, one that just graduated and obtained a full scholarship for baseball from MHS. Younger son plays football and baseball for MHS. I like football and baseball in the mountains. Football being number one here! Just something about football. I think it's the time of the year, the roar of the crowd and knowing I am sitting in one of the greatest football playing fields in SE Kentucky...Bradner Stadium.
  12. Quite alright! Yes, we have a team...some would say no! Lost a lot of seniors that were favored to go along way, but when you put your faith in a certain few, add a new coach that took over a very undisciplined team...it was a mess. I'm looking forward for the season to start. I hate dead period. I keep my son working and training. It's like it never ends here! Crazy football parent!!!
  13. I like following HCHS, Whitley and Corbin...Going to watch Pineville and Bell closely. Big rivals for Middlesboro. Middlesboro gets trashed really bad by these two. So I'll watch them really close. Bell is our first game and it's on the mountain, I am anxious to see exactly what were up against and of course I have a dog in the fight. I think with some changes in positioning and the speed we will have, will carry us a long way. Log Mountain is very intimidating, but then again, so is Bradner Stadium. I cannot make predictions, Middlesboro lost a lot of seniors and we are young. I will not predict off of teams from last year. Some have us winning nothing, some have us winning at least 2. I'm going to say at least five looking at it now. Things change with time. But Bell being our first game, I am going to have to say this is going to be tough.
  14. Thankful to find a site where actual sports is the topic. Other sites are like topix and to much arguing back and forth. Getting ready for the 2015 season at Middlesboro! Go Big Gold!:angrybird8::ylsuper:
