  1. Although I 85% agree with you, the Collins team is the #1 team in the region on many people's rankings. The gallatin vs Collins game was really good and Collins escaped with a win. I do believe anything is possible, but when "Class A" schools compete against the bigger schools in march it seems they break down almost every single time.
  2. you are right my friend! I also believe that Collins is very beatable and could easily lose that #2 spot. They rallied late in the 4th to escape gallatin with a win, and they beat grant in OT. I will give it to them that they possibly are the best closers in the region! Excited for the All A this week!
  3. A good win for Gallatin, I would think they are the favorite in the district this year. They moved the ball great in this game. They could easily be 6-0 this year, lost a bad one in Walton in OT, and let go of a 4th quarter lead against a good Collins team. If Rassman and Wilson get going early offensively, they are a hard duo to stop. Still a lot of big games ahead for them to prove themselves as an elite region 8 team. I think this Owen county team will decrease the deficit to Gallatin after Tacket gets healthy, but that is a very large gap to fill in order to beat the GC boys.
  4. The DB on the Kentucky team who won the MVP was an absolute stud. He is a great sized corner. He has great talent and is very physical. He seemed a little cocky but confident. Anyone have a name for this kid and does he have any offers?
  5. I personally never believed that Anderson was at the top of the region. This does make it very interesting.
  6. I'm glad miles is scoring, if this Walton team is going to win a lot of games they have to get clinkenbeard more involved offensively. He is their best player and Is a tall guy with guard abilities.
  7. Really good game, really bad officiating on both side. The third quarter scoring was at a minimum due to the amount of uncalled fouls. The Titans outsize gallatin by a lot (although you wouldn't know it on the boards.) Turner has a beautiful mid-range shot that he used a lot. Rassman came out firing again, but there was not a lot of scoring from either teams back courts in the second half. This is what hurt gallatin IMO. Congrats to Collins on a hard fought win!
  8. Not sure what happened to Anderson county this game. I was not there, so I can not talk about performance levels. To be the the best team in the eighth region they have to prove it against 8th region teams not teams like east Jessamine. I hope to see them pick it up when it comes to region play.
  9. I totally agree the amount of charges they attempt are crazy. In one play last night, 2 kids took the same charge in the same play lol.
  10. Fox has an unbelievable vertical and can cram it. He also can shoot from the perimeter (at least in warm ups). Seems like he played really timid, It would be great for Wtown if he gets some experience and starts being a true big. Good luck the rest of the year to the demons, we will see you in January!
  11. I also am surprised by this score! Sounds like it was a good game, I see Griffin got his. How well did the others score for south?
  12. Rassman was on fire tonight. Expected to see williamstown go to Fox more. I barely saw him on the floor during the second half (he wasn't in foul Trouble either).
  13. In a standard church league offense, you can't cuss when you miss a shot.
  14. Yeah the wildcats rotated 10 players the whole game, always had fresh legs on the floor. Eminence struggled with depth, Kemryn Jenkins is a nice a player but needs some help offensively.
