Gallatin may be a step ahead of Henry. They have a couple girls that have faired well while playing travel ball and may step their game up this season.

Does Gallatin County have any coming up? I know they have couple young kids that play travel ball.

Plays school ball at Owen County and travel ball for NKY Stealers. Has a good glove both infield and outfield, but from what I have seen she is much better in the infield. A guy from Highlands is coaching the NKY Stealers this coming season. Really good move on their part for those girls.

Bailey is a very good kid as well. Really coachable and gives her full attention and 110% at everything she does. Takes the game very serious and knows every position and is ready for every play. NKY Stealers should have a great year with their talent.

Couldn't agree with you more. She is a great infielder and her knowledge of the game makes her a even better player. Looking forward to see what the future has for her. I know she didn't get varsity playing time last season due to their coach and not playing younger players. If he doesn't play her this year and justify that he has 9 other players better than her then they should win the State cause they will be the team to beat. I have watched her play for a long time both travel and Middle school and JV. She also can hit and put the bat on the ball in any situation.

Owen Counties Bailey Young should be on this list, but didn't get to play Varsity ball last year due to the coach not letting younger players play. This kid has the best glove around both infield and outfield. Plays for one of the top travel teams around. Anxious to see if Owen Counties coach plays her this year. She should be the Rebels top player followed with another Fresman that pitches.

Gallatin, Henry or Carroll have anyone coming up? Owen also has a pitcher that will be a 9th grader. She should be their number 1 pitcher this year if the coach play Freshman.

Who are some of the top freshman players coming up for the 8th region both offensive and defensive?

Glad to hear Baley from Owen is getting to play. High school coach didn't allow her to play the field cause she was a 8th grader. Have seen her play and she has one of the better gloves around. Sounds like this team she is on will have many wins to come in the future. Like to get to a tournament and watch them play.

Kid from Owen County plays on that team. She has one of the best infield gloves around. Curious to know the name of their center fielder and third baseman. From what I read this is a young team but a really good team with a lot of great players.

Noticed the Krushers got a win at 12-U and qualified for World Series.

Anderson should win the 8th region. They have Owen the first game. From what I have seen of Owen County and have seen on here and talked to others. He doesn't play his best players. He is one of those coaches that no matter how good or bad you are your playing time depends on what grade you are in. Anderson shouldn't have any problems in the 12:00 game to advance to next round.

Said she played two innings in the field after their second baseman got hurt. I agree she is one of the better defensive players around. The younger kids do not get a chance there due to the coach believing only the older girls should play. I have heard that from several people. I'd rather be in it to win it.

Not the night Owen County girls were looking for against Henry. Many errors followed up by not being able to hit the ball was costly.
