  1. And then a kid passes out and we all complain is it worth it.
  2. Mature quickly? They were in the red zone 6 times and he never got flustered. Looked pretty composed to me.
  3. Camels QB 10-23 CovCath QB 7-18 Not sure why you say he was solid but camels QBS were just ok. CovCath scored on a botched punt and an int. Otherwise they did very little. Camels QB went the length of the field for both scores. I am not taking anything away from CovCath, he is a very good QB, but give our guys some credit. Kudos to the our line and D. Played very well. All in all it was a pretty evenly matched and fun to watch scrimmage. Camels much improved and it showed today.
  4. Honestly not sure his name, he may have been a freshman, but I assumed he was an 8th grader.
  5. Lets see, we started an 8th grade pitcher. Varsity all pulled after one inning. JV played rest of game. Every hit we went base by base by base. What more can we do...Oh yea, almost forgot, we relieved our 8th grader, WITH ANOTHER 8TH GRADER... I dont think anyone from Augusta would be upset. We did not rub it in their faces whatsoever.
  6. I am totally impartial to this and agree with both of you... 1) the process is dumb - basically season means nothing 2) it is what it is - Cant say they got screwed
  7. Does anyone know if there is streaming for the games today? Have some friends and family doing the Memorial Day thing, but still want to listen if possible.
  8. I am probably gonna get bashed, but my stance is like they always say "Just Win" and don't worry about the draw or the seed.
  9. Another player that many haven't heard of: Austin Hoeh - Camels - Has pitched four JV games and given up 2 runs, one of the four was a no-hitter and one a two hitter. Pitched a one hitter in his varsity debut. Recently pitched a 5-1 complete game on Saturday in JV.
  10. I agree that both those QBS will be fun to watch, but everyone will soon hear of Junior QB at Campbell County Austin Hoeh.
  11. Two years? Next year!!! So, I am an optimist and a homer!!
  12. We have a pretty good JV team as well and alot of the younger guys are playing varsity. I am excited about the future, but still have faith in this team. I don't ever give up until we lose the last game and it's over. I believe my kid can overcome and do anything, sometimes to a fault :thumb:
