The one that left me scratching my head was the Boone touchdown. The line of scrimmage was the 4 and the running back took the handoff and ran on a sweep to the 2 and then flipped it over the heads of the defenders into a waiting WR in the end zone. I am assuming that the underhand flip is still considered a pass so would it have been illegal since he was past the line of scrimmage?

Also, wanted to give a shout out to Justin Schlarman for a great game. He was the first to start catching the throws which broke the game wide open. Good to see him get some active time on offense again as a senior. Also, the defense as a whole for Cooper needs some props. They have been run on all year but stepped it up last night. Micheal Spencer has been moved to end and on the defensive line and seems to have filled some of the holes...

And just to be clear, my son is a starter and played the whole game. But that isn't the point. The point was that after every game Sports4life comes on here saying how bad Borchers is cause he didn't get Perry passes and features Lee - but the passes have to be caught.

Watch Hudl again. I never said he lost the ball to Dixie each time but he did put the ball on the ground 4 times. My point was he had a rough day too. As to Perry, yep 5 passes dropped. And as to the interception - ask him why he got pointed out in game tape review by the coach for pulling up then?

I will say this for Lee at QB - he does have elusiveness and can throw a good ball. He has an arm and looks to be putting it in the right spots most of the time. He has a lot of learning to do and hopefully a growth spurt or two to come but he has some talent. Hopefully they will start putting in more quick passes so the defense has to back off instead of just keying on the QB. If only there were some WRs that could catch the ball.... ...

You keep talking up these Jr receivers yet they had a really bad game last night. Armour had 4 fumbles and Perry dropped 5-6 passes or more. The interception was because Perry pulled up on the route instead of running it through because the linebacker was pressing him. The QB threw it where he was to be but only he didn't try to get there. And both those guys were the ones getting burned on defense while at corner and safety on the end...
