  1. I think I would like to see video before bashing this kid on here. It's already been noted here that she was involved in an altercation over the summer when it wasnt her. Are we even sure we have the right player? I saw pics of the game and the player that was accused of assault this summer was double teaming with Stinson in the photos. Also SK is very well known for physical play and I get the feeling that there may have been some of that going on. Stinson is a tiny girl but feisty. Not making excuses but she's smaller than most of SK's players. However, if she did throw a punch, there should be no excuse and she should be punished.
  2. Stinson was not the player involved in the scrimmage incident. I spoke to her and her parents over the summer and it was not her.
  3. Congratulations to all the POY's! Enjoy and good luck!
  4. I disagree. Martin can shoot 3's. Ok? What else? Rebounding? Defensive stops. She hasn't Stopped other top players J. Also, there is a quote from Coach Richey that stopping Jonson was a team effort. So clearly Martin didn't alone hold Johnson to 10. Let this young lady enjoy her moment and move on J.
  5. What other top 9th region players has she stopped from scoring? I've seen senior players score 20 in first half in 9th so this 14 your speaking of is not that big of a deal for this forum. Marin collected 80 rebounds for the season. How is that top of the 9th?
  6. I agree with this 100%. I believe others would like for all of us to believe there's a bettter player in her class. However, she's gone head to head with every top player in her class this year and proved that's she's the better player. Hands Down.
  7. First, this is 2017 thread. So I'm not sure if you wanna sound like you know. Second, Niece is no where close in comparison to other 2018 players. I mean no where. I dont care if she dropped 50 a game. She may win 8th due to politics and who else is there in 8th, but certainlynot the state.
  8. Boxcore says Harney had the 26. Is this not correct? Simon Kenton 73, Highlands 30 Simon Kenton–Jones 7 0 15, Vickers 1 0 2, Harmeyer 1 0 2, Gilliam 3 0 9, Harney 11 4 26, Buckner 1 0 2, Bush 1 0 2, Meier 3 1 7, Dressman 1 0 2. Totals: 31 5 73. Highlands–Dill 1 0 2, Baioni 1 0 3, Martin 4 0 12, Barth 0 4 4, Buecker 3 1 7, Jansen 1 0 2. Totals: 10 5 30.
  9. If this isn't the site for it then why mention it? Do you honestly believe that these Kids have never faced adversity? That has to be a typo. I heard a whole other story But this thread is about the score not personal attacks on Holmes or their parenting skills. Hopefully we can leave it at that in the future.
  10. I don't need to. I already know they won't play Holmes. If you been told it's the other way around, you've been misinformed. Holmes will play anyone. They (SK) never schedule top 9th region opponents. I believe they opted out of playing Holy Cross the year they went to state as well. Check scoreboard.
  11. Like I said in previous post. 9th region plays a different style called defense. They don't have 110-102 games. SK has struggled against other teams in state with tight defense.. So not sure I agree. But that's just my opinion. As far as NKY, if they want to prove the best in NKY, play Holmes.
  12. I would agree. Again, when they decide to play Holmes then we'll talk about them being best in NKY. 9th region is different from other regions in state. Great win for the Jags!
  13. Until SK plays Holmes like everyone else in NKY, they can't be considered the best in NKY or even ranked with Holmes.
