  1. That is correct. My understanding is that they may share duties but so far only Muck has kicked in the one game and the scrimmage. Both looked like they kick well at least when they were warming up during halftime.
  2. Scott continues to run a terrible offense. Agree they have some nice looking players. Hoping they regroup and have a great season. Looked like they had more players on the sideline than in recent years. Good outlook for the program moving forward
  3. Logan Muck from the soccer team is the Newcath kicker
  4. Collegiate is very good. Quite a few club players, sound defensively, play solid possession side to side through the midfield and two fast strikers. At least that was my opinion in the two matches I saw them play.
  5. Unfortunately NCC didn't play to win but rather not to lose. Once down 1-0 that strategy goes out the window. Didn't look like they made any adjustments to make a legit effort to win even when down 2-0. I think NCC was a tougher out than twss is giving credit. 2-0 isn't a blowout but true NCC didn't make much of a threat to score primarily due to strategy.
  6. Apparently the "defensive" strategy didn't work...10-0...
  7. Both kids who have taken all the starting snaps are out. Season starter N Perrin is out as is his replacement R Muck. Both will hopefully be back after next weeks bye. Perrin is actually better suited as a RB so we will see what they decide to do after the bye week.
  8. Not sure who will be taking the snaps for Scott. N Perrin and Muck are both out. Running game improved a bit last week so if they can eliminate turnovers and continue the improved ground attack they should prevail by an eyelash.
  9. They were very good in all positions. They had two strikers that were very fast and had a very soft first touch. I hear they have several players who either ar or have been in a DA program and several others who play on a high level club team. Passing was crisp, quick and one touch. Kept NCC chasing throughout the match. It was 7-0 at the half. Collegiate never took their foot off the gas and most starters played the majority of the second half as well. NCC made a few adjustments at half that obviously helped minimize the final outcome deficiency but overall they were clearly over matched. Congrats to NCC for advancing that far!
  10. I have attended several matches and he has gotten a few as well as not. From what I have seen he is a very intense player who gets the attention of officials fairly quickly. It has also appeared that he has a tendency to not hold his tongue that has also resulted in a card or two. Hopefully for his sake that issue goes away with maturity. I have also had opportunities to see his club team and he and his teammates do continue play after a booking. Last nights match was not so physical it warranted such heavy control IMO. Thanks for the friendly warning and the reminder
  11. You are wise beyond your years YC. It is my understanding that Muck was held out for that precise reason. Unfortunately the crew last night has always had a heightened awareness of him and an extremely short leash. Not sure he has ever played a match that I have witnessed where he has not received a card for physical play. The foul last night was certainly not card worthy with both boys simply challenging for the ball. If the center thought it card worthy then could have gone either way. I really only thought 2 cards were warranted during the match certainly not 5.
  12. You are correct there are 3. The one I failed to mention is pretty decent. Needs to get off this crew.
  13. The two worst officilas doing the game. Steelers.... I mean birds 2-0.
  14. Confused why Henry is at #4. NCC defeated them and Cooper defeated NCC and had a draw against them if I am not mistaken.
  15. My understanding is that Perrin injured his left hand or wrist that required a procedure keeping him out a few weeks. They have a freshman qb also hurt so their only real receiver (#2) has taken over. Believe he is a senior
