  1. hefa1424.......since you brought it up, fill us in on your knowledge of "internal problems" at Ryle.
  2. Lady Bluebirds vs. Lady Raiders at NKU to see who advances to the championship. Who wins and why.
  3. It will be the Ryle Lady Raiders vs the Lady Bluebirds of HHS on Saturday, high noon. Who wins and advances to the regional championship game and why???
  4. The Lady Raiders welcome the Camels Saturday night in Union. Who wins, this one could be tough to call.
  5. Lady Raiders welcome Highlands to Union on Monday night. Who wins and why.
  6. HUGE WIN for the Lady Raiders! Any stats? M. Schwartz takes MVP. This Lady Raiders team deserves some intrigue, for sure.
  7. New hire is Katie Madden Haitz, former assistant to Nell Fookes. Best of luck Coach Haitz! Great group of girls she has waiting for her.
  8. Word on the streets is Ryle has hired Coach Katie Madden from Boone County. Can anyone confirm/deny/ or add info
  9. The lady that has coached the freshman team the last few years.
  10. Also too many coaches that don't often enough look at THEMSELVES to see why a team is not being successful. This thread was started with the intention of putting it out there that there is a head coaching position OPEN at a large, local high school. Quite an opportunity for a person looking for a career challenge. If the previous coach wasn't cutting it, then people are going to talk about it. Sometimes IT IS the coach that's the problem. Check back mid season. Im betting you will see the Lady Raiders on a roll under new leadership.
  11. AGREE, it is going to be a tough job for anyone who might like the challenge. BUT, the talent is there and waiting, and if run correctly and the girls are finally PUSHED to their potential, I'd put them up against any team around. ESPECIALLY, if they hire someone who is an excellent game coach who also can get to know his players and their strengths. Word is the AD is going to do his best to try and announce a hire soon after dead period. May the BEST MAN/WOMAN for the job be picked. FINALLY.
  12. Your brilliance BLINDS us all!! Parent, fan, coach, local basketball enthusiast......it matters NOT! Let the search begin.....!!!!! Good for Ryle.
  13. Anyone that knows anything about Ryle girls bball knows the coaching struggles they have had the last two years. This is not a new revelation, ask around. It has also been explained at length in posts from last season. Let's hope Ryle THIS TIME hits the jackpot and builds a program of INTEGRITY for years to come. Over and out.
  14. Can't really say why because I have no idea, but I do know she resigned yesterday. It's about time this school have a head coach for the girls program that can push them to achieve what they are capable of AND COACH GAMES TO WIN. The senior class at Ryle is stacked with talent, some of which has been completely ignored because of politics and shady agendas. Get it right his time RYLE!!!
