Creech doesn't sit during her games and Boley does. If they played the same amount if time, their numbers would probably be similar. Boley will win and deserves it, but you are all discounting Creech's talent because of the 14th. Someone said, switch their team regions. I promise you, Creech would still get her's. Maybe not 50+ a game, but it would be over 40. You can take the team out iftge14th but she will play the same and her coach would coach the same. Congratulations to Erin Boley.

Jenkins is actually 2-2 in district play now. They have split with JBS, lost to KCC, and now beat LCC. This moves them to 3rd in the district. KCC is 1st, JBS is 2nd, Jenkins 3rd, LCC 4th, and Cordia 5th. If the season ended today. Either JBS or Jenkins would make the regional tournament, playing the 2nd/3rd place game. Pretty crazy season in the 14th this year. Huge congratulations to Miss Creech. So much negative talk out there. People want to say she wouldn't this this in Lexington or if she was playing better competition. I wouldn't be poor if I was born into royalty. There are always ifs, however you can change what had happened. She's had a great career and deserves praise.

Does any know the proposed class break down? Which school would be where? District and region?

And you say she isn't legit? I just think you are being overboard and negative toward this young lady. She has worked her tail off and stayed home at Jenkins, instead of transferring to Perry Central or Letcher Central or Knott Central, and tried to make her team better. You say, let me know when she plays someone good? Out of all the games you've watched her play, she hasn't played anyone good?? Really??

Which team is your team? What do you consider a good team? That game had 2 division 1 players playing against each other. Igo will play big D1 basketball.

Jenkins traveled to Montgomery County today and won 70-45. Creech had 60. Hope some of you were able to come out and watch her.

I am a little confused by the rankings. Leslie has played themselves to being #1 and KCC has the team to be in the top 2, but Perry at #3?? They lost to South Floyd, Menifee, and Jenkins all at double digits. Breathitt has 3 loses and they are all to good teams, as Powell has only lose to 2 teams that are good as well. Both of Powell's loses wete on the road and they had Leslie down 14-3 before Combs started hitting the 3's. Lindon hurt her ankle in that game and peck sat in the first quarter with 2 fouls. The regional tournament will be a good one thus year since there isn't a powerhouse. It will come down to the draw.

I've heard conflicting answers, so ill ask you guys. Can high school coaches, varsity, jv, or freshman, coach their team girls during the off season? Is the a period they can and can't?
