  1. Koz??? as in the Football Coach? Wrong thread I do believe. Good chuckle...that was funny I don't care who you are.
  2. Senior trip after graduation? Don't most schools do this while school is session?
  3. That's too bad as I am sure ALL of the boys want to play but have to abide by others' rules.
  4. It is scheduled for Scott High School at 7pm on Thursday, June 7th. West Athletes are practicing at Cooper 5 to 7 each evening. Holy Cross has (4) players Dylan Couch, Sebastian Baker, Jason Russell, and Dominic Hassert. Rumor has it that some of the big names (like Mayer) are sitting out. Cannot blame them - heck, they may have some stipulations forbidding play like this once they commit.
  5. SO, because it is High School, the Holy Cross Community cannot be given the respect of letting us know what is going on in our school? That we have to find out our information through Social Media? You are missing the bus brother and my point.
  6. No ties and a friend stated he thought his kids were much younger. Which is good and indicates that he may be in for the long haul.
  7. I was in a conversation last night with one of them...and yes, that appears to be true.
  8. In no way was I questioning the validity of the information...hell I gotta get the information from somewhere...but I am just extremely disappointed with how I received it...again not your fault. And by the way, thanks for letting us know.
  9. You say confirmed...by who? Have not seen nor have not heard official announcement to the the HC Community. If the decision was shared with the existing players, so be it as that is understandable. However immediately next the school should have done this officially. Same thing happened with the girls varsity coach hiring. I consider myself pretty involved at the Cross but found out via Blue Grass Preps. Not that I don't consider you a reliable and legitimate news source, LOL, but I should have found it out first from the school officially. Similar to a press release. On the school's website, parent email distribution, and School Facebook page and other social media Outlets. A collaboration of communication from the school. Just extremely disappointed.
  10. Holy Cross has both the starting quarterback and the backup returning with a few others who played a tremendous amount last year returning. Other than that, you are spot-on unfortunately.
  11. Please share a little more to those unfamiliar with what happened or appears to have happened last night...
  12. I researched this at KHSAA and actually, this particular quoted rule does NOT apply to a single person not acting as part of a band nor was the music school provided ... "J) Band or other school Provided Music During Live Ball 1) The band is not to play or cheers be given when the ball is alive by rule. 2) Persons subject to the rules, including bands, shall not create any noise that prohibits a team from hearing its signals. Drums, cymbals, bells and mechanical noisemakers shall not be used to assist cheering." This again is for a "SCHOOL BAND OR OTHER SCHOOL PROVIDED MUSIC DURING LIVE BALL"...a parent does NOT apply to THIS rule in the situation that occured...This rule was the one that was mentioned and therefore DOES NOT APPLY! Now, for fairness sake, there may be times that the REFs can address this, but not under this RULE. And obviously, the REFs did not see a problem with it yesterday afternoon or they would have halted it. If a rule is quoted and stated the drumming violated that rule...you have it wrong. Quote the proper rule that you feel was violated and then we can argue that point.
