  1. Michael Mayer had 3 catches for 38 yards.
  2. I just read that Sean Fausz is representing the USA in the U23 Freestyle World Championships currently going on in Bucharest, Romania. He is currently 3-0 in the tournament and wrestles a Russian later today for the Gold Medal. Win or lose, congratulations to Mr. Fausz, that is one tremendous accomplishment!
  3. I agree, Coach Dilts has done a good job with the program. His first year they only won 3 or 4 games playing with a line up of 1 senior and no juniors. Since then, Villa has improved their record each year compared to the previous year. As for 2018-2019, it will be difficult to improve upon last seasons record because they lost 4 experienced seniors. However, they return a good core of players in the Zalla brothers, Schlueter, Stoddart, and Thole.
  4. I completely agree regarding Dr. Sarah Weinel. I think she is amazing. She is in the same practice with Drs. Eisner and Snyder, who are also mentioned in this thread. Only problem with them is they sometimes have a long appointment backlog. However, the reason is for this is because they are so well liked and respected by their patients.
  5. Bellevue, Calvary, and Villa all have one loss. Next closest is Ludlow with 4 or 5 losses. Key upcoming games which will most likely decide who wins NKAC D-III are: January 30: Bellevue @ Calvary February 2: Villa @ Bellevue February 8: Calvary @ Villa
  6. Yes, Thomas Schutzman did graduate after a great career. However, this year's team has a lot of experience. The 3 senior starters have been getting significant varsity minutes since their freshman year. The cupboard was not left bare for this year.
  7. Villa led by Ben Zalla 25 points, Sean McIntyre 17 points, and Michael Schluter with 11 points. Villa, Calvary, and Bellevue are now in a 3-way tie for first place in NKAC D-3
  8. Congratulations to Sean McIntyre of Villa Madonna on scoring his 1000th career point in Villa's 69-41 win over Dayton on Friday evening.
  9. It looks like Kim Spritzky did not compete at the state meet. This was a severe blow to St. Henry's chances at the team championship. Does anyone know what happened? Was she sick, injured? Sounds like an unfortunate break for a great kid.
  10. Villa clinches the NKAC D-III championship with the win. Thomas Schutzman and Sean McIntyre led the Blue Lightning with 21 points each
  11. They may be going to Georgetown. The list I provided is not a complete list of teams attending, just teams that I know of.
  12. I don't know the schedule, but here is a list of teams that I have heard will be at the camp. Conner Villa Madonna St. Francis - Louisville Logan - WV Christian Academy of Louisville McCreary Central Bullitt Central Johnson Central Sheldon Clark Lincoln County South Floyd
  13. Yes, he plays high school JV. Ben also dressed for the most recent varsity game and played the final minute.
