    Not sure if they have settled on a mascot name but I know they are getting kids from all over Lexington and the surrounding area. They're going to be better than your typical new school.

    Tough to gauge from 7 v 7. Lafayette should still be the favorite in the city once they put the pads on. I actually think they will slowly drop off each year for the next few. The freshman class you mentioned is good but they have lost some players, don't really have a qb and they didn't dominate everyone. They lost twice to Scott Co. and beat Tates Creek in OT at home in a game that TC dominated without their freshman qb that played up. I...

    It's going to be an interesting year for Lexington city football. I am hearing that Fredrick Douglas will have plenty of talent but not be very deep. They have several kids from Bryan Station, Henry Clay, at least 1 good one from LCA, and at least 1 from Texas. Bryan Station has had several significant departures to FD and a few to other city schools but will still have nice talent. Henry Clay has lost some players to FD and don't seem to be...
